HART Straight Cut Aviation Snips, Chrome Molybdenum Blade

Seems to be sturdy. Heavier than my old pair that were not as sturdy feeling as these. They made short work of the job I was struggling with using the old pair...cutting ground cloth and chicken wire.

Wow just wow. I received the HART AVIATION SNIPS and very happy with them. Extra sharp and rally heavy duty. The rubber handles are easy to hold even for an older person as me. I hope to get years and years of use out of them. Only wish that all snip were as good as Hart's.

This is a sharp pair of shears, A bit heavy, but not heavy enough to dissuade small hands from using them. I used them to snip dry hedges and they worked amazingly well. Cut cleanly through twigs and branches. Rubber, spring handles for comfortable holding and squeezing. Sharp, cerated, no rust blades. Stainless steel hook for locking blades closed for safe storage. Well made and durable. Blades can cut through aluminum, wires, wood and most other materials. Perfect for handymen, DIY-ers, and craftsmen. Versatile and functional. Highly recommended. I was incredibly pleasantly surprised with these. I was afraid we'd have to work super hard to cut a thin sheet of metal but it cut like butter. im sure it would work great even for thicker stuff.

The HART straight cut aviation snips are a great addition to my toolbox. They have a nice grip, and cut through aluminum sheets like butter. The blades are very sharp and the snips are easy to use. I have never heard of the HART brand before - but these are a great pair of aviation snips because they work so well, and I will definitely check out other HART brand products. I would recommend this to others who are looking for this type of tool.

Two weeks after putting in my order for my HART Straight Cut Aviation Snips, Chrome Molybdenum Blade it was here. Even though I order this to complete my husband tool box , I was excited as well. This are very well built blade. This came  with a black and some yellow handel colors . Even though the are very sturdy,  well made and a but heavy. They are very easy to handle even for myself a Women.  I myself have small hands but they are still easy to maneuver.  They handle has some texture on it which makes it easy to move around. My husband and have different uses for it. He used to cut rubber, aluminum, wires and  other materials. Perfect for him that loves making different projects at home. I love it because it helps me cut my old brunches,twigs and other thick plants. I helps me keep my garden and roses nice and trim . I love how  blades wont get rusty. It also comes with stainless steel hook for locking blades closed . Helps me keep it safe in my pockets. It just perfectly made and made to long last. Thia HART Straight Cut Aviation Snips, Chrome Molybdenum Blade it's perfect at such a great price. I honestly love it. Might have to buy another one . Since my husband doesn't like sharing his tools especially he's favorite ones . I recomend this tool to every handyman or woman.

These metal cutting scissors are so fun to use. I had no Idea that I could cut through some thick metal so easy. They do not hurt your hand or give you any kind of hand cramps like you would expect with cutting thick metal sheets with scissors. These make it so easy and fun to get the job done. Now I am looking around my house trying to find other uses That I can use them for. I Recently used these to cut some metal side pieces for my ramp in my pinball machine. Even a kid could cut through thin metal with these scissors. I did try to cut plexiglass with these and it just cracked though. So you do have to watch what you cut with them. I do like that they come with a safety latch to lock them from opening up when not in use. It is good To keep little hands safe in case they do find the scissors they may not be able to open them easy if at all. The only thing I can say is that you can see tiny teeth marks in the metal from the scissors cutting it and if you snip all the way down it can leave a notch inward towards your last cut so test them out on a scrap first to see which direction you need to cut from to get a finished edge.

I have medium/large ladies hands and these are too big to use except on rare occasion. Wish I'd read the size before I bought. They are sharp and cut well, but not practical for me.
