Hyper Tough 6-inch Mini Hacksaw, Handsaw with Adjustable 24 Tooth per-inch Blade, 1291V

First time using a handsaw! I do have a battery powered chain saw, and it does all the hard work! This is my first saw that I need to supply the muscle to use. This little saw was able to cut through screws very well. I wouldn't say it was super easy, like cutting butter. But, it wasn't super hard either. It took @ 2-3 mins of continuous sawing to cut through normal wood screws. Great hand grip, and good compact design. Truly appreciate this little saw! Trying to protect pets from screws that were over an inch too long that were put in a fence ~ and their points were protruding dangerously. The wise thing to do would've been to measure the thickness of the wood, and then get appropriate length screws to use. But, that didn't happen. So the danger of sharp points needed eliminating. And this handsaw was able to saw off the screws close to the wood. Truly much appreciated! I don't know how long it will last, but on this first day, it has saved the day! Fantastic! An old hose had become stuck on the outside spigot and nothing we tried got it off (not even trusty old WD-40 and a wrench). I was so afraid of breaking the pipe that I even phoned a plumber and they wanted $30 just to come lOOk at it. I then watched a video on how to use a good mini hacksaw to just cut it off. Well, this hacksaw worked like MAGIC. In literally less than 2 minutes, it was off, and the new hose was on. Great buy and investment, as I now have a mini hacksaw and some extra blades I bought! Oh, and yes, it worked wonderfully in that little cramped space behind the hose.

I had to remove a toilet seat that had rusted metal screws that were thick. This little hand saw worked like a champion. within 30 minutes I had cut through both of them.

Perfect size saw that we need in the house

I haven't used it yet but the packaging is not good or safe. It was in a bag with my groceries. It definitely needs better and safer packaging to cover the blade.

The handle is the best part of this product. The tiny teeth on the blade are useless. I got it to cut the center pole on my spice rack but it won't even scratch the thing. Now, I have to buy either blades or a larger hacksaw. I would suggest using it to cut plastic, but it might not cut that either. Useless! I would not recommend this to anyone.

it was just my wrong choice. i should have done better research on tool. i did think all tools were alike. i needed stronger tool. its seems like it would be good for cutting plastic. i did get my job done anyway
