Nice to be able to purchase multiple units off season. Did NOT like the sticky tape that they used to seal the individual bottle closed. Left a reside that had to be cleaned off.

Pros: Started using this brand this spring while in Florida. Spent 3 days on open water kayaking and never burned. Used it again this past week while fishing in Arkansas (4 days on an open boat on the water). It did great, I didn't burn at all. It stays on even through water and sweat. I have a pale, fair complection and typically burns red within 15-20 minutes of being in direct sun. I made sure to reapply every two hours. Smells nice (coconut scent). Cons: Difficult to wash off (which is kinda what you want when being outside), but even after showering and washing my face, this stuff still managed to stain my white linen pillowcase a rusty orange color wherever my face was in contact with the fabric. When it is in direct contact with clothing, it stained the fabric orange. From what I have read, this is a problem wherever the product comes into contact with hard water (which we have well water and it is hard water). So far, the stains have remained in the fabrics despite the extra scrubbing and soaking. I do not know if this would be a problem where you are using city water or soft water.

Works great but overpriced. Smells wonderful.

I was getting ready to head to Atlanta, GA for a 3-day music festival with nothing in my bag to protect my face from the harsh sun I was about to endure. That's when I received a sample of Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Moisturizer. 3 days later, I was hooked. I had danced, sweat, and all but cried that weekend but I didn't have a trace of sun burn OR breakouts due to the new product. I will say, it has a scent to it, which almost made me turn my nose up at it completely, but I'm glad I didn't. It's not a bad smell, I was more worried of the effect it would have on my face, but that seems to be none! Also, if you apply this RIGHT after exfoliating/deep cleaning your face, you will probably feel a slight stinging sensation. It's not bad, just something that I noticed happened when I didn't give my skin time to breathe between products. All-in-all, I love this product, and am glad to have it as a part of my daily summer routine. (We'll see how it does in the cold this winter!)

While it went on smooth and felt great without any stinging, it caused my pores to clog. I had the worst blemishes the day after using it. Had over 5 huge blemishes.
