Needed a stand alone non solar, non timer, non remote, non dusk to dawn outdoor outlet to use that wouldn't interfere with a current smart plug that lights up sections of lights outside. These worked the best. They are placed close to the house under an eave and have worked even under foggy, drizzle, rain, and windy conditions without a problem.

This is handy and while it is not real sturdy, if you don't get rough with it, it should last a long time. My problem is there is only room for standard size plugs. the plug-ins on my yard ornaments were wide and the flip covers got in the way. Instead of returning it, I just bought some 3 prong adapters to use for spacers.

Item was missing the stakes to stake it into the ground.
