[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer with scalp psoriasis and have always kept Head & Shoulders in my treatment routine for mild flare-ups. It contains zinc phrithiome - a powerful antifungal effective at treating dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis as well. I should note that this shampoo is not my daily go-to -- it's strictly reserved for flare-ups. When I do use it, I saturate the scalp with warm water, apply a liberal amount to the affected area and let sit for a minute or two before rinsing out. I am in turn provided with immediate relief that lasts for days. This particular formulation seems as straightforward and effective as the old standard, I appreciate that the company is trying new things with the scent and packaging and have not found that it has interfered with the products' efficacy. I was using a different brand before, but it didn’t help with my dandruff. If someone is looking for a shampoo to deal with dandruff, they can try Head & Shoulders.

great shampoo also smells nice

I thought it would smell more like vanilla.. I'm very particular about vanilla.
