Head & Shoulders Royal Oils Instant Soothe Scalp Elixir Treatment, 4.2 fl oz, for Dry Scalp

This is a quality product that I purchased once for an itchy scalp. It is my fault it didn't do all that well with my hair-scalp because I do not have the type of hair which is recommended for it's use. My head would not stop itching though and I assumed(incorrectly)that if would work for really dry curly hair or for those who use braiding, extensions, heat, etc...then it would work on my thin and fine hair; BAD idea(on my part) While it DID stop itching initially, after about two days my hair and scalp were so incredibly greasy it caused OTHER issues like additional itching where it hadn't itched before, limp, dirty looking hair even after washing, and I got several inflamed red bumps from it. SO, try this if you have the dry, curly, braided hair type, but NOT if you have fine, limpish, or oily hair to begin with as it WILL make your condition worse after a few days(or likely less with some)It took me two weeks to get my hair/scalp back to JUST itching a little.

this leave in spray has helped my scalp tremendously. it has helped clear out the visible dandruff. no more dryness. bottle is a good size for the price.

Just received this via delivery within last hour on 10/06/20. I opened and started using product immediately. I felt my scalp tingling in the three areas scalp conditioner used instantly. I don't have dry scalp or dandruff, but I have these red patches, eczema or possibly psoriasis (????), no definitive diagnosis that itch like mad and I am constantly picking at areas. This product has instantly relieved the itch. Nice clean scent unlike Tea Tree Oil products.

Stops the itching. Does not burn nor sting. Has NO scent which is great as you can apply it all day long even at work. Doesn't leave your hair greasy so you can keep applying it all day long. As with all products, once it soaks in after a few hours, you'll have to reapply throughout the day. Can apply it at bedtime, but wait until it soaks into your scalp and not the pillowcases. I would purchase this again.

I really like this, I had a few months where I couldn't use my preferred shampoo and conditioner (I usually use the h%26s royal oils shampoo and conditioner) and my scalp was suffering horribly. Using this was the first relief I got from the itchy scalp!

used this on my twists for my dandruff. It does what it says it does. my scalp feels VERY relieved after use. I would recommend for any natural who puts protective styles in their head and cnt last long because of dandruff. This product was very soothing to the scalp with NO BUILD UP.

This product is excellent for dry itchy scalp. My scalp is very itchy and dry, but I see a significant difference since I have been using this scalp elixir. This is the only product I will use on my scalp for itching. I will be stocking up on this product. Thank you Head and Shoulders, I can't wait to try the rest of the line.

Elixir lasts 2 days or more to contain the itching. The product smells wonderful and does not feel like it is heavy or clogging. Both my daughter and I use this and it seems to work really well for our needs! So much so, that I have purchased the whole care line.

The cooling effect of the menthol was still going on over an hour after applying to the point where it felt like it was burning. Had to wash my hair at midnight because I couldn't take it anymore. Straight in the trash.
