I have bought 2 Digital Weight Scales through the OTC program of my health insurance. They are never accurate and you can not calibrate them to be accurate and they need BATTERIES! If the batteries start to weaken, the scale is off. I prefer the 'old fashioned' spring scales. You can have them for YEARS and they are always accurate. Some things can not be improved upon. I had a spring scale when I bought the first Digital one and gave it away. I regret it now, but I have a nice new one. I'm happy and trust that it is accurate!
It was the scale meter I was looking for. Nobody else had this kind. They only had digital ones and this is the one I wanted plus the price was awesome!
I bought a digital bathroom scale and didn't like it so I bought this old school scale like I've always had in the past. I really like it and it's accurate. I'm rather petite and fit on it fine but if you're a big person with big feet maybe not so much. I always check reviews.
I really like this scale. I had a battery LED one, that always had different readings. I could check it 3 times and get 3 different readings. This one is easy to read and understand. It always gives you the same reading within a few minutes of each reading.
Scale is well put together and shows consistent readings. The only problem for me is I have size 11 feet. It doesn't feel good to have the tips of my toes and heels hanging over the edge of the scale. I'm returning it for one with a longer foot surface.
If you want an Accurate, Simple scale, no batteries, no digital complications, all you do is step on it and it shows your weight, this is the scale for you. Health O Meter has been in business for OVER 100 YEARS, and they invented the very accurate balance beam scale that nearly every doctor had or has in his office.
It's a scale. It does what a scale is supposed to do. I didn't rate one of the questions. As you can't read it. It's cut off. Even turning the phone sideways, hoping it would expand didn't help. Quite frankly you can't read any of them. so I'm just hoping my common Sense worked out. It's nice. I do wish the numbers were bigger. I knew the size when I bought it. So that's not really a complaint. Here's a tip for the review people. If you're going to ask for a review, make sure we can read what you're asking. You may have gotten some stars, instead of me leaving it blank. If you want a back to basic scale. One that's not going to run out of batteries. One you're not spending time trying to position your feet just right, so you can get your BMI. I would recommend this one.
I'm not really sure how I feel about this scale, I purchased a Wi-Fi digital smart scale and I purchased the scale and the smart scale is saying I weigh 3 lb more than this manual scale and I believe that to be wrong because I had a digital that broke on me a few days ago that was saying I weigh the same amount as the smart digital scale I just purchased so I think this one is inaccurate
I wanted an old school analog scale to track my weight but this is cheaply made and I regret purchasing it. I've only owned it for approximately 2 hours and the couple of times I've weighed myself I can feel and tell that this thing isn't durable enough to last a few months if that. They just don't make items like they used to. It's all about profits and using the cheapest materials possible.
Used the scale for a week and then its accuracy went crazy. I made sure I calibrated the scale each use but iy didnt matter. When standing normally on the scale showed a 20 lb error less than my true weight. If I leaned forward the scale would tip to 25 lb heavier weight. It simply isnt a credible scale.
