This 5 inch riser is well designed for a round toilet. My mother, with stability issues, uses it on a standard-height toilet with a separate and toilet-surrounding support-handle device. There are 5 well placed and sized foam rubber pads underneath this riser that stabilize it on the rim of the toilet, and though it can be moved easily enough, without weight on it, we haven’t had any slippage problems. Let me re-emphasize that we use toilet handles for her stability issues. This seat is not designed to increase stability, but to raise the height. The seat is also not cushioned, but a satin-finished, slightly soft plastic that is moulded into a very rounded sitting surface. Mom has a fairly boney bum and this is more comfortable for her than the harder edges of her regular toilet seat. Her inseam is 30” and this height is comfortable and makes it easier for her to get up and down. The splash guard keeps helps to prevent messes from approaching the rim, and the surface is all very easy to clean in the tub or shower. My own inseam is 34, and this height is just a comfortable (handicap toilet 19.5”) height when added to a standard height toilet. Also my weight is over 200 lbs, and it feels completely solid, for me. All in all, I’m pleased that it is well designed and made with care… And it works very well for us.

This seat works perfectly. It has just the right amount of height he needed added to it. It can be sat on without sliding, I can keep it on the toilet at all times, or take it off when I use it versus my elderly husband. It does have either velcro, or stickers on the bottom (Which I have not had to use) to make it stay more put without sliding on its own, but I feel it is not necessary as it is a tight fit on the toilet seat. they have different heights to choose from. This is a definite good buy.

Getting older is challenging. Who would have thought that sitting on a normal height toilet seat would get tough to do? But some days my knees just don't want to bend enough to sit down that far. I ordered this removable version of a height riser because I am not the only person in the house and the others don't need it. It has been perfect. Pop it on, sit down, take care of business, then remove it and stow it until I feel the need for it again. It makes sitting down and getting up much more comfortable and stable. Why should a basic life activity be any more difficult than it has to be?

This item is advertised as an "aid to seniors" which I am, but I think it can be used by anyone. The standard toilet in most bathrooms sit low and when you arise from "doing your business" it puts strain on your back and knees. This toilet seat riser really makes it easier to go to the toilet and arise with ease. ..simply amazing. It might not work for small children, but I highly recommend it for ALL adults, senior or otherwise.

Bought for my 81 year old mom recovering from foot surgery. She was having to pull herself up. It was so easy to install. All I had to do was remove the toilet seat and set this on the toilet. It was stable and fit snuggly. My mother said she felt like a queen on her throne. Important to note that if you install it on an oval toilet, the person will fall over because it won't fit snugly. It fits perfectly and works perfectly on my toilet because my toilets are round. When my brother installed it on their oval toilets, she fell off the toilet because the item is not designed for oval toilets. It's perfect for round toilets. Easy solution.

I reside in and old building, so the commodes are low. I have mobility issues, and this product makes it much easier on my legs when it comes to sitting and getting back up. The height is just enough for comfort and makes my time in the restroom much shorter as I don't have to spend time taking deep breaths and/or just worrying about discomfort and pain as I get back up again. THIS IS A BIG HELP.

at first I looked for price. this item was well within budget. Then it looked a strange shape but when I received it and put it on it not only fit well but I love the little felt circles to keep it from slipping. Great product. will order again when necessary.

Wanted soft seat and its hard plastic. Have elongated toilet and does not fit properly, Slides around on toilet . Flipped once and I fell. Maybe my interpretation of description was wrong but it wasn't the right seat for me. Sorry.

It does not the elongated to Liz as stated. I submitted request to return and was referred to contact seller directly for return. I have sent several request to there e-mail and have received no reply.. Email is only option given to contact seller. Very frustrating and disappointed in Walmart with this purchase
