Hefty 18 Gallon Plastic Storage Tote, Smoke Blue, Set of 6

strong plasic bins with good latching lids, could hold what i needed them to, nice color, and fairly quick delivery.

Storage containers built very sturdy. Great value compared to other totes i have bought. Hefty is a great brand name.

I love that these are square and don't have the odd angles and shapes of other storage bins. This makes it easier to actually use all the space and be able to put anything you want in it. The latching lids are nice. I just wish the plastic was a little bit thicker. I feel like if I put anything heavy in these, they will break. Cost too much to be flimsy.

Nice size but not as sturdy as needed. They were delivered and placed on my driveway behind a car! Poor decision of delivery person.

I expected more from Hefty. Based on my experience with a different similarly priced Hefty branded tote with similar features (same 18 gallon capacity and latching lid), I ordered 2 sets of these for a total of 12 totes. Unfortunately, unlike with the others, these are very thin and flex a lot. Some arrived with light-colored stress marks from the shipping process. And the lid latches are small and weak. These seem like Hefty tote knock-offs compared to the other totes I've bought several 6-packs of. The other ones I have work great for outdoor storage but these were going to fall apart so I am returning them and already ordered two more 6-packs of the others. I preferred something slightly different (dusky blue vs my usual grey totes) since they are for a different storage purpose and I wanted to be able to tell them apart. But I'd rather have to label totes that will last than have ones that are a different color that won't last. These totes would be okay for light-weight indoor storage but are not suitable for heavy items or outdoor use.

the driver delivered them to the mailroom. I explicitly put to deliver to my door. for God sakes there is an elevator! I called corporate the gentleman tried to have my items picked up and delivered to my front door. to no avail. I had to go down with my 82 yr old mom to help me. I'm on disability for fibromyalgia. look up stage 4 fibromyalgia and then you will understand my plyt. thank you. Martina
