Hefty Kitchen Trash Can, 12.1 Gallon Plastic Step Garbage Bin with Foot Pedal Lid, Black

I bought 2 of these garbage cans. One for me and one for my daughter, because she liked mine so much. I love how the bag stays in place! I never need to worry about cleaning the inside of the can! It's also pet friendly if you have any furry trash pickers in your house.

So handy and convenient! Also, a reasonable price. I love the foot pedal! No having to wash my hands over and over again while I'm cooking! My hands stay clean because I don't have to touch the lid to toss something in. It's a great product. I highly recommend!

I like that my new trashcan is hands free until the bag needs to be changed. It's so easy for me to get sick so having something that I can open without touching it with my hands is amazing. I would recommend this item. I'm so happy to have it. The peddle is the best function on the trash can because that's what makes it hands free :-). I will always choose black trash cans over any other color. The quality is good. If mishandled, I'm pretty sure it'll break but I'm not trying to mishandle my trash can. The lid is also nice because it keeps out of my house. I threw an empty chicken bag in there and forgot that I did that. The house didn't smell like terrible the next day. I do wish that the opening was a little bigger but it's not a deal breaker. I can fit the trash inside the can so I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great little garbage can (especially at the price point - it's almost impossible to find a garbage bin under $50 anymore, which is crazy). I did have to request a replacement as the first can I received came with the wrong lid (I think the packer just accidentally grabbed the wrong one nbd) - the return was super easy (Fedex came and grabbed the first can and I got my replacement within a couple of days).

I ordered and got wrong lid, so put in for a replacement and got another wrong lid. Then one came by car and said return to Fedex which how are they going to know. Also I called in and told them I am home bound and cannot drive and shouldn't have to drive across town to return anyway as it was the stores fault. I am not returning and if you charge me well I will be calling you. Very displeased and believe both came from the supercenter on 7th street in Joplin. It was so obvious they were wrong lids

The trash can that came was correct, but with the wrong lid. I had to go to the store to return it. I ordered online to avoid going inside the store. I got a refund, but forgot to ask for a refund on the delivery cost. I should not have to pay for delivery when the order was not correct.

i feel that this trash can could be made more sturdy as far as the lid. the lid doesnt seem to stay on correctly when i use the foot thing. i guess you get what you pay for right? this wasnt the trash can i originally ordered this was a substitute which was a bit of a disappointment because i never used this brand of trash can before

I ordered this trashcan and assumed it was large enough for my kitchen trash. I was sadly mistaken. In addition, the trashcan was not delivered to my home. I suspect that a neighbor got the trashcan and did not notify Walmart or me. I use the trashcan in my library.

The trashcan itself is good but who ever chose it off the shelves from whichever local store didn't bother matching the lid. The can is a foot pedal but the lid is a flip/swing lid for a smaller trashcan. I'm going to keep it though because the return is jumping through hoops by FedEx.

Had I known how annoying it would be to get the lid back on I would never have purchased this can. Mind you I've still not been able to get it back on. Not worth the aggravation. The hinge that would allow you to snap the lid back into place does not work.
