I LOVE this kitchen garbage can. I had one for 15 years, but moved %26 was unable to take it (it was black). I searched for one %26 found it -- no batteries or swinging lids, just push down to open, same to close. Keeps smell, if any, contained %26 seals the top each time you close it, "click".

This product seems like it will last unlike some others I have tried in the past that the closing mechanism would break. It also has the extra lip on the lid to hide the bag which i appreciated

Cool tall kitchen trash can. Color more of a steel gray with nice accent, but color probably variable to picture due to material. Study and cute and not obtrusive. Lid sticks a bit, concerned for long term use. Hopefully, can be replaced if mechanism fails.

Great purchase
The lid works great. The design makes you think there is a release button but, there isn't one. You have to press the lid in the middle. The no show bag feature is nice. The neutral color works well.

Touch lid trash can
After using this I'm not as happy with it. It looks nice, but the lid doesn't function properly all the time so my husband ends up leaving it open most of the time which isn't what I prefer. But it works for now.
