Heinz HomeStyle Caramelized Onion and Thyme Gravy, 12 oz Jar

I find it comical people review this complaining it has no flavor becusse it needs meat. Its a vegan gravy! Ots not going to have big meat chunks or meat juice flavor to it. Its made from veggies and herbs. Does it taste like pure caramelized onion? No. But I can definitely taste the zweet onion in it. I first bought this and another one in a different flavor last Thanksgiving becusse my brother is vegan and i was preparing vegan options for him. My whole family ended up loving this gravy. I buy it now for our loaded mashed potato nights because my kids love it so much. So if you're wanting a leat tasting gravy, buy a keat based gravy. But uf you want a began option or just to try something different, this stuff is actually really good.

Great flavor, use it as an alternative to meat-based gravies at holidays and other times on mashed potatoes and such:)

This gravy was a letdown. It barely had any flavor and definitely didn't taste like caramelized onions — more like a strange chemical aftertaste. I was hoping for something rich and savory, but this just didn't deliver. I won't be buying it again.
