Hello Hobby White Water-Soluble Fabric Marking Pencil (1 Count)

A very easy pencil to use for my darker fabrics. I'm able to see the line now instead of struggling to see the line previously with what I was using it's just like a pencil where you just sharpen it with a regular sharpener so it's really easy and convenient.

I used this Hello Hobby White Water-Soluble pencil for outlining large projects, like the text and characters on banners. It performed excellently for mapping out my designs. The mark is highly visible and creates a smooth, clear line, which is essential for detailed work. It was easy to handle and allowed me to quickly and accurately get my design onto the surface. Plus, since it's water-soluble, it would be ideal for fabric projects where the mark needs to disappear. Highly recommended for crafters and artists!

Dark felt is hard to mark but this pencil is effective. The marks lasted through cutting and stitching yet didn't need to be wiped off when finished. The point wears down quickly and needs to be re-sharpened. I don't think it could be harder, though, or it wouldn't have marked thick wool blend felt. Very good value.

This is the best marking pencil I have purchased to date. It marked beautifully and the lines stayed on during use. I immediately ordered a second one. to make sure I always have one handy. It is worth the price. I sew %26 quilt, great for both.

This marking pencil works perfectly for sewing projects. The lines show up clearly on fabric and wash out easily with water. It's smooth to use, doesn't snag the material, and makes cutting and stitching so much easier. Great quality and exactly what I needed!

At first i had to push in the fabric like seriously in depth I think the pencil was super dry or something but I left mine out in the sun for a bit and it came out way smoother I tried not to smear the product- when I did I couldn't find the mark so make sure u dont blend it like I did and erasing it I used a warm baby wipe . Didn't woke well for me on my skin tones fabrics I would recommend only for darks, I would it recommend it if you don't mind the Clean up . I'd still prefer the iron off pen.

I haven't used the pencil much yet, but, so far, I've used it on black denim jean fabric and found it difficult to make a visible white line. But that might be because of the type of fabric. After tracing over it a few times, it was visible enough, and it works better than trying to pin the fabric in the shape I want to cut. I also like that it's a pencil with a sharp point instead of something more bulky.

This pencil is fine for darks if you are using it on a hard surface. The hard surface allows you to apply the needed pressure to be able to see what was drawn. I quilt on a large frame and do not have a hard surface under the quilt to trace my templates. So this pencil doesn't work for my needs.

giving this a 3 only because it is not useful on brown paper, like crafter paper. i got this to do outlines with but the color is so light its hard to see or you have to press real hard then it becomes harder to get off with eraser. it may br good on fabric (never tested) but not brown paper

I'm new to sewing and this looked like a nice additional to my growing collection of supplies. I could only get it to work on thick fabric. When I tried to use it on thin or stretchy knit, it not only didn't leave a mark, but made weird dimples in the fabric.
