Ergonomic and light for any chops! Blades however are prone to watermarks probably due to hard water at my location. A simple wipe after wash should do the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife worked very well for over a year before a piece of the handle randomly fell off. I emailed customer support and very quickly was sent a replacement, the customer service was very easy to work with and extremely responsive.

An 8" Chef knife is the most used knife in the kitchen prepping family meal in cutting and slicing large food such as meat, veggies, fruits, and herbs. A stamped blade, fabricated from high quality stainless steel, a stays sharp, light but durable knife. It's easy maintenance knife, dishwasher safe but I personally rather handwash my kitchen knives.

I've gotten tired of always having to work so hard to cut things up. So I looked online for recommendations and this knife came up. I'm so glad that I got it! It makes everything easier and I wish I had gotten it sooner!

So far so good. Currently it is sharp and has worked well. My concern is that the blade is very thin, and may disfigure. I also don't know how long the knife will stay sharp and whether because the bad is so thin, whether sharpening it will cause a problem.

This is a true straight-edge chef's knife. It is the workhorse in professional kitchens. It is also a great deal. The Solution line of knives is a good step up to quality stamped steel cutlery. The knives are made from high quality German steel that will not stain or rust or pit. They are made - from the tip of the blade to the heel of the handle - from a single piece of steel providing terrific stability. This knife is lightweight without compromising blade sharpness. Maintained properly, it will last many years. Extremely good value.

It cuts like a great knife but it is lighter and feels cheaply made compared to the one it is replacing.

Unfortunately, this knife doesn't fit in my hand very well and it will give me a blister if I continue to use it. :(

This knife was part of a 16-piece set. Within a month of normal use, the handle broke. Henkel replaced the knife and within a year the handle on this knife broke. There is no way I would recommend this knife because of the poor quality of the handle.
