Henckels Silver Essentials 7 Piece Self-Sharpening Knife Block Set

It's all one forged piece which makes it comfortable to hold and use, and the knives have a nice weight to them without being too heavy. Overall a nice set to have for a nice variety and the added plus of being self sharpening

It looks sharp on the counter and is aesthetically pleasing with the silver and black. The collection of knives is good. I love that it also gives me scissors which are always handy in the kitchen. The weight of the knives is fairly distributed well so it does make them nice to cut with although I would prefer them to be a little heavier, but overall a great set, especially for the price.

I can tell this knife set is going to last quite a long time which is hands down awesome. You can use this set for different types of meat and there’s even scissors as well which is helpful when you have little kids who need there food cut up into little pieces makes it quick and easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great knives, they are very durable and extremely sharp. Easy to self sharpen too. They are quite safe as they can be stored in the knife block. Relatively comfortable too, I haven’t had any issues in that regard and I use them for cooking every day now. I’d for sure recommend these to a friend as a nice budget friendly and effective option.

The handles are ergonomic but the actual knives are not too heavy. I don't have to remember to sharpen and worry about danger. Plus it's beautiful on the countertop!

The handle is heavy and ergonomic so it's easy on the hands. They're super sharp and it's my first time seeing a knife sharpener inside of the knife block! Everything came packaged well and safely!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful set of knives! I’m very excited about the self sharpening knife block. My knives always seem to dull very quickly. So far these are very nice and sharp. The handles are metal, but the knives are too heavy. I do wish there were steak knives included, but I’m just going to keep the ones from my older set. The knife types being noted on the block is also helpful with keeping them in the correct order.

It comes with Shears, a Santoku knife, a Chef’s knife, a serrated utility knife, a prep knife, and a parer. Each knife slot has a built in sharpener, ensuring the blade will be sharp before every use. No more remembering to sharpen your knife before using anymore. Out of the box they are super sharp and cut fish with ease. We are happy to replace our 15 year old knife block with this set, as they feel like they will last a lifetime. They are made with German stainless steel and manufactured in China.

The knives are nice and cut well but we have only had them for a month and they have already started to show signs of rust. We have not put them in the dishwasher. Due to the rusting, I would not recommend this item.
