Henkel 1381191 Naval Jelly Rust Dissolver, 8 Ounces

Works like it says it will. Don't hurry it. Put it on with an old paint brush, eat a sandwich and then hose it off.

This remover is in paste form so it does not run off your project. One application! I use it on restoration of lighting parts.

Worked well, thought the small bottle wouldn't be enough but it covered all the bad rusted areas on a 42' wrought iron fencing including the caps on the posts.

This product is very easy to use. It works very well on rusty nuts, bolts, screws, etc. I'm pleased with it!

Used this and the Rustoleum Rust Dissolver on either side of my sliding gate. This one is way more effective. It got rid of the rust faster and didn't need multiple applications or additional scrubbing like the Rustoleum brand. I ended up using the Loctite one on both sides.

I was a little skeptical going into it because of some of the reviews on here but Loctite Naval Jelly really does work. Buy the bigger 16oz bottle if it is available to you, and exercise some patience during the application process. set a timer for 12-15 minutes after each coat, then go out and rinse it off THOROUGHLY. Keep in mind it may take a few coats to do the job.

Works as advertised. may have to do a second coat but no big deal. Been using it for 40 years and still very good product.

Pro - Works immediately. Con - Thank goodness, the package arrived in a thick, plastic bag. The bottle was open (lid off) and the contents were all over the bag.
