Herbal Essences Purifying Conditioner, Tea Tree, 29.2 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this conditioner after the tea-tree clarifying shampoo, and it made my hair very soft and shiny. The shampoo does the hard work of getting all the residue out, and this conditioner makes me feel extra clean. Lovely fragrance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This purifying Condition smells amazing. I thought the smell would be overwhelming as it has tee tree oil but its actually very citrusy. I have dry coarse hair and after I use a clarifying shampoo it makes my hair feel dryer. This helps put the mositer back and make my hair feel softer after I rinse it off. I like how the packaging is very easy to open and close.

The texture is light and soft which allows a little to go a long way and doesnt seem to be adding any buildup on my scalp. Using it in conjunction with the tea tree shampoo is the perfect combination and will leaves my hair looking and feeling great.

It has a very light formula that doesn't weigh my hair down, which I appreciate. However, because of the watery consistency, it doesn't feel as moisturizing as other Herbal Essence conditioners I've used. I also didn't notice much improvement with tangles, and the shine it gives is pretty average. Overall, I think this conditioner works well for the summer or for people who prefer lightweight products.

It seems to pair well with the shampoo of the same line in terms of keeping my hair clean and clarified. However, as a conditioner, it really isn’t what I’m looking for. It didn’t leave my hair feeling soft or nourished at all. Instead, my hair feels kind of stringy and dry after using this conditioner, which I don’t love a whole lot. It definitely leaves no shine and doesn’t do a whole lot for frizz.
