The Herdez Cilantro Lime Salsa Cremosa tasted just as advertised. I could taste the lime with the product. Made for a good tasting experience as the lime kind of neutralized the medium spice. The product really tasted fresh upon trying. The salsa was smooth and authentic. Was a great tasting salsa experience.
I liked this salsa. I enjoyed the creaminess of it and the consistency is perfect. I think it has a nice flavor for cooking. However, I am a bit sensitive to spiciness and this was a bit much for me. The rest of my family loved it. I would definitely buy it again and it's a great bargain for quality.
This salsa isn't your typical jarred, chunky salsa. It's more of a nice, authentic pureed salsa/sauce like you get at authentic Mexican restaurants. It's rich, creamy and for me, has a nice kick. I love how versatile it is. I've tried it on rice, tacos, and chips so far and can't wait to expirement more.
This salsa was delicious and accompanied anything and everything, from salads to tacos. I even used it on a baked potato and it was just as great. It's packed full of flavor and not too diluted, just the perfect consistency for all your needs. Will definitely try out all the other flavors.
Pepper is one thing that my salsa must have and it definitely is in there. However, it is not overpowering to the point where you can't taste the food. There is a great balance between flavor and spice. Go for this one if you want a flavorful salsa that packs a bit of a punch
This has the right balance and combination of flavors. Great on chicken dishes and also with pasta and salad. My son also used the sauce as a dip for tostinos which he really enjoyed. I also like the size which is great for our family of five. I think we will also try this sauce with other dishes as we enjoy the flavors.
I wasn't very impressed with this and I wouldn't call it a salsa either. It's more like a cream sauce. I also don't like that oil is the 3rd ingredient. I've made similar at home and never used oil. That just adds unnecessary calories and makes it much less healthy than it could have been. Probably best as a finishing sauce to tacos or burritos. But I'd rather make something better myself.
The Herdez Roasted Poblano Pepper salsa is very creamy and tasty. The salsa seems like it's made with quality like all of the Herdez salsas. The Poblano flavor is very forward in the salsa. For a Creamy salsa, it's pretty good. The spice is supposedly medium salsa but I would say it's on the spicier side of the medium range. I thought the salsa was pretty good but not my favorite. I would recommend this salsa to anyone that likes creamy salsa, especially if you like Poblano peppers. For me, I would purchase this salsa again.
I was excited to try this salsa from herdez as it's my favorite brand for traditional salsa. This flavor was kinda gross. A bit spicy for my taste and I can handle heat. It had a fake almost mayo taste to it that just didn't sit right with me. I noticed that all of the varieties of their cremosa sauces have this odd taste.
Overwhelming bitter, artificial taste, not like poblanos at all. I had to throw it away—inedible.
