I absolutely love this laptop. I love the touchscreen. It is super fast and it has all the current updates. It is super easy to use and set up. It has a large amount of GB. I love lots of storage and this laptop has it. It is very lightweight to carry around with you if need be. Overall I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Where do I begin. First, it comes with Windows 10 in S Mode. For flexibility, I easily switched to full Windows Home in seconds with a few clicks. To do a benchmark, I installed PassMark PT and InSSIDer. Astonishing performance for an inexpensive laptop. Overall PassMark figure is 3433 with the CPU at 6223, and the amazingly fast 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD clocks in at 16525 – the fastest I've ever measured in any computer. Laptop feels zippy. The WiFi radio tests extremely sensitive, meaning your wireless connection will always be as good as it can be. The energy efficient design runs very cool. It comes without annoying bloatware and has a bright display. I prefer to set the power button to do a full shutdown rather than sleep when turning off, especially since this fast laptop fully boots up in seconds. Has a full number pad. Has two standard USB 3.1 jacks and one USB 3.1 Type C. For pointing, you can use the full touch screen, the touchpad, or a conventional/wireless mouse – your choice. It weighs 3.5 lbs. (1.6 kg) on my postal scale. Narrow screen bezel keeps the machine compact. The battery charged from 20% to 100% in about 2 hours. Microsoft 365 is installed as a trial. I already have an M365 subscription, so it picked that up instantly and set up 1TB OneDrive for backup and extra storage. The speaker audio is very good for a laptop and can play quite loud. The camera is adequate but a little noisy in lower light. When first started up, it updated Windows automatically from Microsoft, so allow it to do that, and you'll be freshly current. It has the latest Windows Security, so extra malware protection is generally not required. Be sure to turn on Windows ClearType so that on-screen text looks smoother – don't know why that isn't a Windows default. I think this is the best laptop value you can find and will surely please everyone but serious gamers. HP is a good major brand, and they deliberately designed an excellent affordable laptop.

This HP laptop is making me very happy. It has a 15.6 HD display, intel Core i3, 8 GB of Storage and 8 GB of system memory. It also has an HD webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and of course includes Windows 10 Home in S Mode. I need to mention that it also has USB C and USB A ports. This is a beautiful laptop! It was very easy to set up. It had step by step instructions on the monitor which is very nice for some of us who have a limited knowledge of computer systems. Because I have a Google account, I was able to have immediate access to all my information including passwords. I also have my files backed up in Google One Drive (gives you 5GB free). I was able to get all of my files transferred to my new laptop. I really want to remind people how important it is to have your laptop/computer/phone backed up. Otherwise, you risk losing everything. You can lose all your files, documents and photos! I really like the bigger 15.3 inch screen on this laptop. As the years pass, it seems like the screens on my electronics are getting smaller and smaller. Either that or my eyesight is getting worse. Ugh. I love not having problems seeing things on my screen, especially when it comes to shopping! It makes it so much easier. I also like the fact that it is an HP brand. I have had, in the past, an HP personal computer and laptop, and they have always been very reliable and I have always been very satisfied

My husband needed a computer for his routine of studies and we could find a very good computer in this one. This laptop is really to make the information through Cortana, my husband followed the steps and it took about ten minutes. The processor is Intel Core i3, which is fast and enables my husband watch the videos related to his course. It comes with Windows 10 Home, which is easy to use. There 8 GB of memory, which is more than sufficient for his homework. The laptops is light less weight. There is a camera that works really well and two built in microphones, wireless antennas for better reception of the WIFI, and a Bluetooth system. There are two USB port and HDMI port, and a Memory card reader and USB type C port. The keyboard is Windows configuration and it is super comfortable to type. So far my husband where able to watch his classes online, took his test and do everything related to his course. It comes with Microsoft Office trial of thirty days. The battery lasts at least eight hours. The screen is 15.6” and it is a nice size. We are really happy with this laptop and you can have technical support if you have any questions or problem very easily.

I have a pc, a smartphone and a tablet and decided it was time for a laptop. I ordered the HP 15.6 i3 8GB/256GB laptop in silver and now I understand why everyone has a laptop. The HP 15-dy1031wm is so slim and lightweight and I was able to set it up easily by syncing it with my other PC on my home's wi-fi network. The connection speed is amazing! I have to access a wi-fi router through a cinderblock wall when I am on the patio and the HP 15-dy1031wm connects fast and keeeps a strong connection. There are many apps included with the HP 15-dy1031wm and it makes the transition from using my pc at home and at the office to using the laptop virtually seamless. It was simple to set up and use right out of the box. I had to allow the laptop to do numerous updates over the first few days, but it was up to speed in no time. The built-in camera and video camera create decent video and photo images, but not great (I expect little from a built-in camera so that isn't a big issue). The audio quality using the built-in microphone is somewhat sensitive to background noise and you must speak rather loudly. Overall I am really pleased with the speed, storage capacity and flexibility of the HP15-dy1031wm laptop. Oh and the silver finish is beautiful!

The HP 15in laptop core i3 with 8GB is pretty light and thinner than what I'm used to. Noticed that battery is already installed but still got to remove most of the keyboard and bottom just to find the core. I found on the Step by Step sheet easy to read and work with. Easy to set up with the wifi and charging it with the AC adapter. Keyboards keys nice with no clicking noise from pressing them or sticking, the screen is simple with camera built in at the top. The only thing I do not like about the laptop features is its lacking a CD disk drive on the side & that`s very important to me cos i use it a lot on my HP desktop but this is a good price for a laptop.

This light weight HP laptop runs off Microsoft and it can also be connected to my phone. I have a program for our business on my phone and sometime I have to send thing to a printer. This laptop will let me do that. This laptop has a place for two USB, one HDMI, and a SD card. It doesn't take no time to charge it and I have been on here for a while doing reviews and downloading things on here and it still has over a ¾ way of a charge. This HP is the 10th generation, and it is less then 4 lb. and thin enough to fit right inside of your back to take to work, school or just on the road for a move. It's 15.6-inch display screen is nice for a movie in the car for kids. With 10-hour video playback capabilities on that one full charge. The mouse pad is very touchy I have had to redo this review 5 fives because I was not use to this mouse pad yet so this is one thing, I don't like I will be getting a wireless mouse.

I am doing a review on the HP 15.6 i3 8GB/256GB LAPTOP. It is a very pretty silver in color. This laptop is also very lightweight. I really like that because I can't have too much weight on my legs. My legs ache all of the time. I lay on the couch and put the laptop on my legs. It has 8 GB Memory and 256 GB of HDD. That is plenty enough storage for what I need. If you need more there is a place to put a Memory Card Reader in it. It has a built-in webcam with a light. It has an HDMI port and two USB ports. It has a place to plug in your headphone or microphone. This laptop does have Bluetooth. It does work because I hooked up my Bluetooth headset to it just fine. It has one USB Type-C port. It includes two internal microphones. It runs on Windows 10. I really love this laptop. I have been playing with it for a few days. It runs very fast and very smooth. Oh, I forgot to mention Cortana is also in this edition. I am impressed with the speakers. They can get very loud. My other laptop I had to add a feature to it to be able to increase the laptop's speakers louder because they are not loud enough. I only tuned these speakers up halfway and it was loud enough for me to hear over my dog and my husband's tv in the other room. Halfway on this laptop is loud. It also came with great Setup Instructions. Very easy to follow. The color is very good on the screen and after it is charged I think I got nine hours. I don't know how long it takes to charge it up because I left it charging overnight. I am going to deduct one star though. The one problem that I do not like about this laptop is that it is in Windows 10 Home in S Mode. Which means you are only able to download features from the Microsoft Store. I like to set my laptop the way that I want. I want to add my own bookmark manager. If you add other features, not from the Microsoft store then your laptop will not be running in Secure Mode. So I have to use it as is. Other than this, it is a great laptop. I do highly recommend it. It is very stable and reliable. It is very solidly made.

I am very pleased with this notebook! It's very thin and lightweight, so you can take it anywhere you go. I'm also very impressed with the all-day productivity battery life that it has. I get a good 10+ hours before I have to recharge it. I've never experienced such long battery life before with any other device that I have ever owned. I've tried tackling pretty much everything with this computer and find that it's a very reliable little device. It's been great for surfing the web, reading emails, watching YouTube videos and streaming Netflix. The display quality on this is outstanding and I love the mico-edge bezel design of the screen. It displays images in full HD (high definition) and has great color and resolution. This notebook has 8 GB system memory and 256 GB SSD, which is all that's needed for simple everyday computer tasks. The web pages load fast without any lagging. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as fast as it is. So been happy with the speed of it. So far I am very pleased and haven't encountered any issues with it. The only thing that I wish it had was an optical disc drive. This does not come with one, so you can't play CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray disks in it. But honestly with online streaming, its not a major issue to not have a optical drive. It's just nice to have one incase you need it. I'm very impressed by it and would definitely recommend!

I have no idea as to why a company like HP would ever design a product like this, yet give it one of the worst keyboards I've ever encountered. All the secondary keys like , . ' - are labelled that small, you need to stare at them to work out what is what, especially the comma and full stop by being positioned next to each other.
