I honestly had no idea what a cool set I bought for my 12 yo One Piece fan! I thought I was buying a generic but interesting pirate ship in a bottle, which would have still been great. But he opened it Christmas Day and was so excited that it was the Thousand Sunny! That alone was enough to make me mom of the year. The over 1600 pieces allowed for family members to help in different ways. Some helped with sorting; some helped with organizing (we used soooo many egg cartons!); my job was finding all the pieces he needed for each step. The manual was fairly easy to follow for him, but sometimes the color in to book didn't match the color of the actual piece. Orange was especially hard to recognize as orange. It took several weeks but in the end, he was so happy with it! And the bottle it is surrounded with is a great display and dust protection. It looks awesome on his bookshelf with all the One Piece manga books. Totally recommend for Lego fans who love a challenge, and especially for those who love One Piece!!
This was a gift for my son for Christmas. He was very happy with it. The pieces are tiny so it's very unique to build with compared to the regular Lego blocks.
The pieces are super tiny but my patient boyfriend loved making this for his birthday.
I got this for my son for Christmas and I know he's going to love it! It's going to be a great display piece for him and his room once he's done putting it together.
The micro bricks are a little hard to put together. but this is such a cool set as a ship from One Piece in a bottle! my 12 yo kid loves it but does need a little help
ordered it for m y Grandson for Christmas hope he likes it as much as I do
The pieces are a lot smaller than I expected them to be, (not the size of lego brand) but so far it has been a lot of fun putting it together with my niece! The detail is wonderful but it is kind of hard to see how to put it together with the instruction manual. We are figuring it out though!
It's going to look very cool once it's finished but it's incredibly tricky because the directions don't seem to match 100% page to page. There isn't much continuity on what pieces you're supposed to use and where you've put them.
I didn't love it that much because it doesn't look too much like the picture. It is not one piece exactly.
It shipped to my house and came as a “Compass Cutter”. I checked the package and tracking and this was not a mess up, just a scam.
