Bought this 5 lb bag of Himalayan pink coarse salt for my grinders/ shakers because, lets be real, $14 is basicly the Walmart clarance price for "fancy" salt. In those tiny over priced grinder refill packets at the grocery stor, this stuff costs almost its weight in actual gold. Here? Its cheaper than therapy for my sodium addiction. Tastes salty (shocking, I know), looks pretty in pink, and keeps my shakers full for like a decade. If yor tired of paying premium for pink rocks from a mountain, grab this bulk deal. Your wallet and your stake will thank you. Solid value, no regrets highley recommend if your not trying to flex with artisanal single-origin salt crystals.
It has good flavor for seasoning food. It is very reasonably priced. It also works well as a replacement for Epson salts for using in a bath to relax sore muscles.
This is the best deal and quality we could find on the market. Flavor is great. It works terrific in our wireless grinder. So glad we finally found this. It's not too much to have on hand. Just right. Other packages were way too big and expensive. This salt brings out the flavors in everything without excess use. Try it on your grains, including vegetables and potatoes. This salt gives a whole new depth of flavor, even on steak. We are eating keto, so our Baked potato is made up of cauliflower, butter, sour cream, black cracked pepper, and cracked pink Himalaya salt. That's my fav. Don't forget to add your caramel or chocolate-flavored foods?
Just got my pink salt in the mail, and I'm super stoked! I love using it in my cooking, and it's perfect for adding that extra flavor kick. The price was totally worth it, and it came sealed, so I'm good to go! Can't wait to use it in my next recipe, maybe even whip up something with mangoes!
This was my first time trying Himalayan Pink Sea Salt. I didn’t expect to taste as much of a difference as I did. It really woke up everything I put it on. It has a much brighter taste even than sea salt. I am definitely a convert, especially since it was much less expensive than I’ve ever seen it priced at.
Great buy! if you have a large family you cook for or a restaurant this is a great size. I didn't realize how large this container was so I am giving this to several friends so they can try this salt.
This salt has many nutrients that work with the body and is better than the popular named brand. Ground it in my processor and gave enough salt for a good bit of time. i love it!!!
The price was excellent but the size of the grains were not "extra fine" as advertised. Walmart's brand Great Value is more expensive, but their "fine" grind salt is much more powder like.
I’m sure the salt was probably fine, but unfortunately it arrived with the container crushed. It was shipped in a paper envelope with no packing material and when I opened it, the lid was completely off and salt went EVERYWHERE. So not only was I unable to use it, but to add insult to injury, I had a huge mess to clean up. I don’t have a printer, so I couldn’t return it by fed ex. I’m disabled and no longer drive which is why I depend on delivery and I thought I could return it through my Walmart membership. Turns out, it doesn’t qualify. So I’m out the money I spent because someone couldn’t be bothered to pack the item correctly for shipping. Not happy. :(
I bought this"ultra fine" Himalayan pink salt to be similar to another brand, yet it is not as fine and does not melt in water as quickly as I expected.
