Hinode Medium Grain Calrose White Rice 20lbs

I grew up in Hawaii where rice is a staple. This is one of the brands thats available there. I am now in Alaska and tired the brands available here which doesn't come close to the constancy and texture. The brands available here come out too wet and mushy. Some say add less water, It comes out too dry and undercooked. Highly recommend

Household staple. Great price and quality. We eat rice everyday and this works fine. Depending on brand you have to rinse more to get clean, this brand requires extra rinses, but worth the price. I also realized for awhile now I don't find “stones or pebbles” in the rice. 10/10

Must have for rice eating households. Price per pound is cheaper than other stores, even when they have sales. Easy to make; simply rinse, measure water and rice, and cook.

I was thrilled to see that 20 pound bags of Hinode calrose rice are now available. We cook a lot of rice in our family, and Calrose is one of our favorites. Hinode cooked up perfectly in the rice cooker following the simple instructions on the package. The bag was easy to open by pulling the paper tape in the middle of the top. The rice had the perfect texture and a very nice aromatic rice flavor. It's really awesome that we're able to get value-sized packages of excellent Hinode Calrose rice.

This rice is actually fun to eat due to its sticky texture. Sauces adhere to it very well. It makes very nice rice balls. The rice is moist and goes well with all dishes even in soup. The Hinoderice.com website has 134 recipes. All of these recipes have pictures which is a great plus in my opinion. I'm very happy with the taste and quality.

This is good for the value. It is calrose rice but low quality. You can't tell the difference, and i wouldn't mind buying if I could get calrose a few dollars cheaper.
