Hisense 55-Inch Class U8 Series Mini-LED Pro+ ULED 4K UHD Google Smart TV (55U8N, 2024)

This ULED 4K Smart TV provides a wide color gamut, detail in the bright scenes and respectable low-light blacks/gradations. If you don't want to spend the extra $400 to $500 dollars for an OLED panel, which provides the best display for rich, deep blacks in low-lit shots, then this TV is right for you. The audio quality is good for built-in speakers, but you'll want a sound bar for the best quality. Overall, this is a good mid-range 4K Smart TV. You won't be disappointed.

Vibrating colors, clear, crisp, picture. Sound is excellent to the point that I do not feel I need to buy a sound bar. I like the way the remote responds very quickly on the screen, no lag time between inputs of channels or searching in the search bar. Easy to navigate through the menu, also has the E-manual is on the system accessible through the remote control, was able to figure out how to use my Bluetooth headphones.

Originally intended to purchase a Samsung QN90D QLED 4K TV for around $1200. Found the Hisense 55U8N for $650 with comparable specs, strong positive reviews, and decided to take a chance. Only a week into it now, but so far so good! Colors were great out of the box and even better after calibration. Setup was straightforward. Fingers now crossed that this will last at least as long as the 18 year old Sharp Aquos TV it is replacing.

This Tv is the first new Tv we have purchased in over 8 years. I was very hesitant about getting a new one, but when the mother board died on our 4K $1200 one, we had no choice. We looked for around 4 days, read reviews, and landed one this one. We made the jump and purchased it and couldn't be happier. We bought this over 6 months ago and still haven't had any issues. The sound is great, the picture is equal to, if not better than our previous one, the refreah rate keeps everything smooth. We game a lot and watch YouTube a majority of the time, but there is no lasp in quality when using Hulu, Netflix, or any other streaming platforms. I would recommend this Tv and would purchase it over again.

The Hisense TV delivers crisp picture quality and surprisingly good sound for its price. The smart TV interface is smooth, though app selection could be broader. Overall, a solid value pick for budget-conscious buyers.

Has everything you could need in a TV at a budget price The only drawback I have had is the UI. When you need to go into the Sleep Timer, you need to open up huge UI windows that take up the whole screen. That seems pointless with today's UI where you can still keep watching your shows while messing in the UI Also, the WiFi seems to drop sometimes, it isn't too bad since I use my Roku on it, but when using it with Alexa, it get a bit annoying as you can't tell her to turn it on when the TV isn't on Wifi Other than that, TV and movies look great, and it has 2 HDMI 2.1 slots, though one of those is the eARC for plugging in sound bars as you can see in my picture, the PS5 looks great on this TV!!! For a 2024 modal I got it for just under 700.00

It needs tweaking right out of the box and I have a av that need to be adjusted to be compatible with the tv. After some frustration I got everything to work together and OMG this is the best tv ever worth every penny. I love it! I don't think there is anything better from the big three that compares. buy it, play with it and enjoy! You won't be disappointed

Purchased this television in March. Now it has five or six dead pixels. Sad for a television that cost almost $700. Waiting to see the response from Hisence. A television this new should not have pixels die this soon. Will be going back to TCL in the future

Due to being a first time online purchase my $800.00 TV order was canceled immediately after purchase. After calling my credit card company and confirming no issues there I called the number on the text notice and I was informed cancellation was a fraud policy and I could go ahead and order the TV... again. What a waste of time.

TV is great. Customer service all say different things after my issue and it has not yet been resolved .TV came damaged (marking mid screen) called same day to get an exchange. They said ok it'll be there Tuesday..Never received tracking, called- that was never actually set up properly.. Again, they set up a delivery again, gave me an order number this time..Checked my email shortly after, order was cancelled. What a hassle. TV itself is beautiful, besides damage. Damage looked like pieces of fabric- in picture attached). But was not worth the stress with all the varying representatives and I still don't know if I'm getting my replacement. After this mess, I would order off Amazon if I were to do it all over again.
