hard for one person to unpack

paul November 29, 2024

it is bigger in my living room that on the store shelf. you need an area twice as big as the box to unpack by sliding it out. it would have been nice if you could remove the tv from the box by opening the lid, like a pizza box. my old tv was many years old and there is no comparison in the picture quality.

U6N Mini LED

Dustin December 7, 2024

The picture is awesome. Mini LED really does make a difference. Its a budget model, so hardcore gamers might be disappointed w its frame rate, but casual gamers like me probably wont even notice the difference. I use it for playing physical media and im loving it. After messing w some picture settings, my blurays look really impressive. It took a long time for me to replace my 52" plasma, but this was a great way to go. Mini LED looks awesome and is a great alternative to OLED. The U6N is the most affordable model and it delivers a stunning value. It should be noted that I purchased the 65" model. All but the 75" model have VA panels.

This is Hisense's entry level Mini-LED TV and they have it priced competitively to start with. The U6N is the best bang for your buck television right now. I shopped online and there were several sites that had them priced similarly. Walmart.com had the price reduced (sale price) and it saved me just over $****. This model has the Google user interface and it's very responsive when navigating through the menus. I chose this model because it offers **** Hz video in gaming mode when you pair it with the Xbox Series X/S or PS5 via HDMI. This is equipped with Dolby Atmos and it is a must if you are an audiophile.

A Great TV - Excellent Picture Quality!

Sean September 15, 2024

Short Version: An excellent value with a great display for watching TV and playing games on PS5. Longer Version: After my 7 year old Sony's (X69OE) panel gave out on Sunday, I started doing research into a TV that would provide me: A> The panel Size I wanted (65"), B> Mini LED Technology and C> Google TV. My first choice that met the above criteria was the Sony Mini LED 65", but that was above my current budget at $1,500. I considered the equivalent Samsung, but that also was outside my budget. I then started to read the review sites that I trust: NY Times Wire Cutter, PC Magazine, Tom's Guide etc.. This Hisense kept coming up. I pulled the trigger and Wal Mart delivered it to my home the next day(I have membership and delivery was 'free'). Set-up was the same as any Google Device and I was able to see the TV from the Google Home app on my iPhone - (In addition to being able to use my iPhone as a remote). The TV's build quality appears to be very good, along with the remote (but of course, time will tell). One small annoyance was that when I said "Hey Google" to my Google Home device in my kitchen, the TV would hear and answer. When I used the hard-switch on the front of the TV to disable the TV microphone, 3 LED's would remain permanently lit (if you search for a solution to this issue, some folks suggest you need to put black electrical tape over the LED's) however, if you go into the Settings and revoke microphone rights to the Google App, this solves the issue (and you can leave the hard-microphone switch set to 'ON'). The Picture quality is excellent (as one would expect from a 2024 model TV), but I can't comment on the TV's speakers as I run it through a sound-bar (Roku). When playing games on the PS5, I've switched between 1080P at 120 and 2160P at 60 - and frankly I stick with the 4K setting as I love the detail.

After researching large TV's, we decided on this model. Walmart's price was the same as Amazon, would rather buy from Walmart.

Nice upgrade at a great price

Jeremy November 17, 2024

I've had a regular HD LED TV for many years and decided to upgrade to a UHD mini LED screen, and it's a very noticeable improvement! The color and contrast and clarity is exceptional. When you make the upgrade you will be excited to watch movies again, especially at the value/cost proposition of this brand. So far I have really enjoyed the Google TV experience, it makes finding content a lot easier and very intuitive. I also enjoy just speaking commands instead of going through a remote control. I do notice that when I find full 4K content, the TV control menus seem to run a bit slow because of all the processing power consumed by displaying 4K media. I was impressed with the sound quality. My last TV required a soundbar and this one is quite capable on its own and I can hear dialogue easily.

This is a great TV with a wonderful picture. The Google assistant makes the smart TV very useful and entertaining. There is no "previous channel" button on the remote which is annoying and switching between channels is therefore a bit clumsy and slow compared to my fire TV. however, having the voice search available and all of the functions makes this TV a very good bargain.

Good build quality for TV. However the packaging lacks, i received my tv with a hole in the box and a broken screen. For a TV that mostly shipped the packaging could be better. Will update if i receive replacement

Excellent picture quality. Audio is ok but not excellent. Installation was easy but could not use the Google home app to install for some reason. But installation through tv menu was easy enough.

Bad delivery service

Freddie July 30, 2024

The television I purchased was shipped via FedEx, and unfortunately, only one person delivered my 65" TV. As a result, I received the TV in a broken condition. A TV of this size should ideally be carried by two individuals. This delivery service was highly unsatisfactory. However, I returned the TV to Walmart, and I must commend the store for their efficient and straightforward return process. While FedEx's service caused significant inconvenience and disappointment, Walmart's handling of the return was exemplary.
