Great picture quality easy to set up good value for money
This is my first smart TV, and it doesn't disappoint! I watched Turning Red on it, and I was very pleased with the video quality. Playing Nintendo Switch on it looked just as wonderful. I recommended the tv to my sister and she likes it too.
The picture quality is great. So many adjustments available. It is intuitive as well. Love it. Had a few small issues. Hisense Cuisinart Service is quick and very reactive. Highly recommend
The best TV I ever purchased
I received this TV from Hisense for full testing and review from the gaming perspective and wow it does not disappoint. 2 Hdmi2.1 ports ( one with EARC ) provide you full 120Hz and 120FPs gaming for games that support it. Your Xbox Series X or S/ Playstation 5 will shine on this TV. The colours in Forza Horizon 5 explode off the screen and the responsiveness while playing COD or Halo is very impressive. Very little to 0 input lag can be seen. Sound quality is a large step up from the Q8G and fills the room with impressive sounds. The features you get on the U78G would cost alot more on other models. Once again Hisense knocks value per quality out of the park. Looking forward to watching some baseball in 4k when it comes back next spring. The customer service via their social media team is unmatched and deserves a raise. Always there to help and support where needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hisense U7G Quantum series television is like having a home theater! The premium ULED and 4K Quantum Dot technology produce a vibrant, rich picture that feels like real time! The smart features are perfect for our frequent movie, gaming and streaming marathons! My family is going crazy with the new 75in wonder and we look forward to many years of home entertainment. I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
strictly talking about the tv... never heard of hisense before i got into some forms about gaming. I did my research and this tv seriously ticked all the boxes and some. Initial set up took about 15 min with a little calibration, without about 7 min. User interface is android so either you will love it or hate it. For me it was a tick in the box. Google voice works well better than my gs21 ultra. User have option to turn off google voice. the sound is lacking i.m.o. but e-arc fixed that for me. the only issue i had was with shipping. Look like some one punched a hole in my box luckly hisense had enough foam in the box to build a fort.. Hisense did not skip out on protection during shipping. over all if you are looking for a solid tv that seems like its built to last and has most of the features that bigger names have and some they dont at a price that wont break the bank or rob you of your soul.. Give them a shot. right now seriously not disapponted. will update if anything changes The only reason for four stars instead of five is SHIPPING! Seriously walmart. You should check the reviews of who ships orders.
bought this tv on a sale feature reviews are what I wanted for a blend of gaming and cinematic experience, my only gripes are I cannot change the ideo output mode(wide, full, stretch) and I expected the local array dimming to be better than it is, the blocks are so large that they might as well have not added the "feature"
After much research and reading great reviews on the u7g's I purchased this TV. In initial viewing, the bright screen picture was amazing but I was very disappointed in the quality of low light scenes. I tried different picture settings, but was never happy with the results. In searching about this issue I learned much to my surprise that the 75" u7g model has a totally different type of screen than the smaller u7g models. The other models have a VA screen while the 75" has an IPS screen which has lower contrast and issues in low light viewing. Why hisense would puse two different screens in the same model line is beyond me but, since all the glowing reviews I read were for the models with the VA screens it made all my research invalid. Learning the problem is inherent in the screen and not correctable, I would probably return the TV but by the time I learned about the different screens, it was past Walmart's return date. I have contacted Hisense to see what they will do.
This TV can deliver some stunning images with its high peak brightness but I am ultimately disappointed with it for a few different reasons. 1 Motion Interpolation - This TV is very distracting to watch movies on. With 24p content I get weird motion interpolation artifacts randomly. This is beyond the normal judder/ soap opera effect issues that plague almost every lcd to some effect. Basically characters and/or objects will have a weird stutter for approximately 1-3 seconds. Over the course of a 2 hour movie, this will happen at least a half dozen times. I haven't really noticed the same thing happening when watching satellite tv or playing video games or a least its a lot less noticeable. Sound - I have this TV hooked up to an AV receiver (Anthem MRX310), via toslink and ARC(for testing purposes). In the digital output menu (see pic), using auto or passthrough will always default to 2 channel pcm when streaming with the onboard apps or even an external roku box. I have to select dolby digital or digital+ in the menu to get surround sound working while streaming movies. When I stream music (2channel pcm), I have to change the settings back to passthrough or pcm to get the correct volume levels. This is hugely inconvenient as these settings are 4 menus deep. Control 4 - I was excited to see there was a Control 4 network driver for this TV but after testing it my excitement quickly waned and I had to resort to IR control. Most of the network controls work (vol+, vol-, menu, up, down, power off, etc.), but power on did not work. I cannot recommend this TV currently but will gladly change this review if a firmware update fixes/ improves these problems. Also, notice the spelling error in the audio output settings?
