Customer Insights: Rated 4.1/5 from 329 reviews.
its good surround decent bimut the surround speaker only do 60 watt a piece, so its not surround because most the work comes from the sub and sound bar
I was concerned about potential latency or lag issues with the surround audio because the satellite speakers and subwoofer were wireless however this happily was not the case as so far I've noticed no issues whatsoever with the audio. Setup also could not have been easier, once the front soundbar was hooked to the TV and turned on, the satellites automatically linked and functioned perfectly the first time. I purchased a Hisense Roku TV at the same time as this sound system and they are both able to be fully controlled with the TV remote which is extremely convenient.
Easy setup. Really. Great sound for the $$$. At first I thought the rear speakers were too quiet (I put the at the headboard of my bed) until I went to bed. I ended up turning the rear (satellite) speakers down so that I could hear the front speakers (the soundbar) better. The Sub Base could have a little more oompf but since I use this in my bedroom it is OK. The power wire for the rear speakers could and should be longer but I can always get a 3 foot extension cord. Over all ... this is a very good system for any room.
Installation should be easy, but do not try to pair the sub and surround speakers with sound on, like from your TV. TURN THE TV OFF and the sub and surround will pair on turning the unit on. I tried ARC %26 Optical. The performance and sound are way better on HDMI-ARC. The sound is meh, kinda tinny. It's acceptable but barely adjustable, everything is auto programmed. I miss old school electronics, component audio, separate amps and tuners, etc. So adjustable. This replaced a 14 yr old Vizio 5.1 that was awesome until it aged out and died.
The reviews are true to unit performance. The small surround speakers are junk, but the saving grace is that the soundbar %26 subwoofer bang. I somehow did something wrong and the sub lost connection %26 I had a little trouble getting it to reconnect but I finally got it to reconnect after a few minutes of reconnecting manually. Don't be like me %26 hook it up %26 go read the manual it'll save you a headache. lol. But like I said the unit bangs %26 I like listening to music more than watching movies so alls good! Hope this helps I'm a real person not a bot. Enjoy.
I hooked this Hisense up to a Hisense tv via hdmi. Unit paired to the tv remote without an issue but still no sound. Call tech support they talked me through connecting via BT. It now works as expected. But…..you have to use both remotes to connect/pair it every time you turn off then on. Just a step and hassle that I didn't want
I've bought one of these surround sounds before, it's never really given me issues. installing it was easy until it came to the hanging speakers… hanging speakers WILL turn on but aren't connecting to the rest of the system. Called Hisense about this issue and didn't get a call back for DAYS. The speakers STILL aren't connecting.. Our current tv dosen't have a bluetooth option so we used a cable to connect it to the sound bar. Voices sound awful, may be due to the age of the tv or an issue with the sound bar (Hopefully not). We're going to be getting a new tv within a few days, we'll see then if it's the sound bar itself or the tv. The vocals and acoustics can be heard through out the entire neighborhood, had to turn the bass down due to our neighbors feeling their walls vibrate. Overall the bass and sound bar are AMAZING 5/5! ⭐️
I would not waste my money on this product I cannot get the mini speakers to Bluetooth even when it is only inches from the sound bar and a foot away from the subwoofer the subwoofer will Bluetooth I have made many attempts to get the mini speakers to Bluetooth the will not pair
This simply does not work. complicated to setup and the rear speakers simply dont work. and you cannot set the bass on the subwoofer. Wasted hours trying to get it to work.
The rear surround speakers constantly cut out and never seem to transmit any sound. Setting doesn't matter because it doesn't stay on no matter what setting you choose. While allegedly 400 watts, the Dolby Atmos experience is underwhelming. The system turns on great that's where the glowing part of the review ends. The subwoofer barely makes any difference. There is no noticeable rumbling or deep bass. The rear surround sound constantly cuts off. Overall, this is a complete waste of money. Don't buy. Wouldn't recommend. Glad I sprang for the added protection to make this piece of junk more expensive for no good reason.
