These shakers are working very well for us and exactly what I was looking for. The salt and pepper does not clog up in the gear mechanism, as I have experienced with other glass grinders. Don't be fooled with the shorter size, as these last a long time before you need to refill. So far, very happy with this purchase.

When I opened the box I said Ooooo! Then Oohhh because I thought they would come filled with salt and pepper!! Oh well these are lovely and they work great. They even have a recipe on the side of the box for a great mix of garlic onion etc. Also you have two choices one way for course and one way for fine. They are not dishwasher safe. Also you if you are like me and buy bulk bath salts this is a great easy way to break the salt down. Also these would make a great gift for someone you know who uses different kinds of salt, bath or cooking. Nice thick glass too. Enjoy!

This review is about the home EC Signature salt and pepper grinder set. The package included two short grinders made of premium glass on the body, a ceramic grinding core, and a durable non-corrosive 304 stainless steel lid. Each grinder is five inches in height and three inches in width. Each grinder has a protective lid for dust and moisture prevention, and an adjustable knob that determines the fineness or coarseness of the spice of your choice. I am able to easily turn the knob to the left for a coarse spice, and turn it to the right for a finer spice. Each grinder also consists of a nylon washer, a ceramic grinder, a spring which is also corrosion-resistant, a cap and a bottle. These grinders are easy to fill, and the set comes with a silicone funnel that has the ability to hold up to 3/4 cup of ingredients. Maintenance for these items is easy. The grinders can be hand washed and they are dishwasher safe. It is recommended that all the components to the grinder or left to dry overnight before using again to prevent moisture from combining with the spices. The funnel is collapsible and easy to wash. The funnel makes it easier to refill the grinders as needed. It is also recommended that these items are taken apart and cleaned at least twice a year. This is a very nice set of grinders that have such a unique and sleek appeal, and they are sure to bring a touch of class to mealtime. The stainless steel is durable, the grinders are easy to hold and even easier to use. These items can be used on a daily basis are brought out for special occasions only. I am very satisfied with this item and I prefer to use it daily. The glass bottom makes it easy to see exactly what is in the grinder and how much is in the grinder. This is a great idea as a gift or for personal use. I highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a cool and modern salt and pepper grinder set.

So the box has lots of great stuff on it. The parts and diagrams,Refill, settings, and maintenance instructions.It also has a recipe for Spicy Montreal Grinder mix, too. Feels very solid, Looks great. It did not come with the salt or pepper, but got some peppercorns to try it out. I like that you can grind it coarse, or fine. I like it fine grind. Easy to work, and maintain. I chose the 1 pack short, takes up less room, but easy to find. There is also a scan code on box to sign up for warranty. It also has an email if you have questions, or concerns. There is also a card with a scan code for warranty on inside of box. Also has cleaning directions on that same card. Fits nice in your hand, easy to grind. The grinder turns easy, so you don`t have to be a weight lifter. I have included a couple pictures so that you can see what the grinder looks like. All in all I give this grinder a great rating for look, function, and feels sturdy. I received this grinder as part of the Spark Reviewer program.

I was quite surprised how heavy this Shaker set is. It's not a thin glass but it's a big glass. The Grinders seem to work well you can choose weather really fine or coarse. I have to remember which way to turn it if I want it fine or coarse but I don't need the tall ones and needs work perfectly. To me these are almost restaurant quality and makes cooking more of a joy. I noticed the little plastic inside the grinder so I'm hoping they'll last we'll wait and see but in the meantime they look beautiful they work great.

I like the size for one thing; I always use Sea Salt; I always bought small Size peppercorn Grinder; now I have these on the counter and looks and works really good. Easy to clean & wipe off and you won’t regret buying them for your next dinner table setting.

I like having the option of adding different spices to this grinder. salt / pepper corns anything you want. I was happy to find a recipe for a Spicy Montreal Grinder Mix, right on the box. I made it and added to the grinder, " Not to Bad on Taste" Is well made and glass jar is nice for cleaning. Defiantly a go to grinder if you want to try different spice mix's

They are nice looking and do the job but they dont really grind at different sizes, you change change the size of the grind but its still a powdery dust no matter which size you pick.

This looked like a good pepper mill ........ but when I got it put the pepper corns in and tryed to use it nothing came out ........ I final screwed the adjustment all the way without it falling off and I would get a chunk every once in awhile ....... I would highly recommend not to buy this grinder
