We used this during the winter when expecting freezing temps. Last bad freeze froze our gas lines so we couldn't even use our stove. We covered the meter outside the house just as a precaution. No idea if it would work but thought it couldn't hurt. The product is easy to use and stayed in place, taped on, even with rough windy weather.

A little expensive but with a fire protection rating of up to 2500 degrees Its worth it.

have to wear a mask and gloves but overall very easy to use and cut and worked great

Exactly what it says that it is. Even checkbfor flame resistance, would buy again if needed. Just handle with gloves in case you are allergic.
