I'm senior and my get hurt quite a bit. Got this to see if it helps. Personally I like the heat and massage setting. It feels so good and the heat really feels good on my sore feet.

There is only two settings. Normal and With Heat. There are total four balls spinner pads. They spin one direction only (No reverse nor No speed options like my other one) Overall good foot massager. Would recommend put on a pair of socks and adjust your foot so you can get to the spot you wish to "roll" on. Quiet machine.

I purchased this foot massager because of the price. The massage ris too harsh for the ailing soles of my feet. I padded the massage surface with a folded dish towel to soften the impact of the rotating message mechanism. Regarding the "heat" setting - the foot massager didn't generate enough heat to soothe the soles of my feet. HoMedics enjoys a good reputation. Perhaps this massager would work out just fine for someone with tougher feet than mine.

There was a large, gouged-out hole in the top of the shipping box and it was thrown upside down onto to my porch steps. The actual item's box was filthy. It took two paper towels with cleanser to clean the box before I could even open it to view the product. The item itself was in a plastic bag with the tape ripped open and the cord twisted as if it had been used. Thanks walmart, just what I wanted: extra work, filth in my home and a used foot massager. Absolutely disgusting. Plus, this treatment is also unfair to the product's manufacturer. I can't even give a review of the product I chose to buy and looked forward to using.

Not as advertised. Massage function not strong enough for my feet. Also, heat was not noticeable at all.
