HoMedics SS-1200 Portable Mini Sound Spa Sleep Solutions

We need a travel "sound machine" to help with our sleep on the road. We have a larger one at home but this one operates on 3 AA batteries and would be easy to pack in your carry-on. We would highly recommend it. Did I mention it has a great price. We did the ship to store and it arrived in 2 days.

We purchased this machine in hopes to help our daughter sleep better and it has worked amazing. We have been using it daily since day 1 and it still has the same batteries since we recieved it.

The sound spa is amazing, I live in a very noisy apartment complex and have issues resting at night even in really late/early morning hours. Only after I received the sound spa was I able to rest better without interruption from the outside world. I plan to purchase the larger one I saw as well, that way I can take this one or my daughter can on trips and the other can stay by the bed. Thank you, Donna

We use our machine to create white noise for sleeping while traveling . We had the same brand full size machine with for about 10 years until the volume quit working. This new smaller version is ideal for our needs and it uses 3 AAA batteries instead of 4 AA making it much lighter .

It works great.

This device works great, though it took me a few minutes to figure out I needed to hold the power button a couple seconds for it to turn on, you can't just quickly press it. This was good too though, because it didn't get accidentally turned on in my bag when travelling. I think another reviewer also didn't know how to turn it on though and left a bad review, so I thought I should post and try to clear that up. Right now I am trying to figure out how many running hours I can get out of a set of batteries, as it seems to be turning off unexpectedly after 10 full nights of having it on, I think that might be as many nights as one gets out of new batteries?

Nice for travel as it's compact and battery operated. We have had it for a few weeks and it works as intended. Hoping the battery life is good! It takes 3 AAA batteries

I bought this about a month ago. It's not holding a battery and sounds horrible as well. I had one before when my son was first born and had it on all night every night. He is now 5 and it just gave out 2 months ago. The sound on this one is surprisingly muffled. Needless to say I am extremely unsatisfied.

I was extremely disappointed!! The sounds are VERY poor quality: scratchy, fast-paced, and have a strange fuzzy buzz to them; NOT relaxing at all. These sounds are NOT the same recordings used in the SS-2025 model (which we love). The physical features are great, but the sound quality is horrible. Promptly returned. :(
