Honey Pot 100% Organic Cotton Cover Cooling Herbal Infusion Regular Pads, 20 Count

I heard about The Honey Pot Company a couple of years ago and wanted to try them out, not only because they are a black owned company and I wanted to support but also because they use natural products and really seem to care a women's personal needs. Everywhere I looked they kept being sold out but I finally made my first purchase last year and I have not looked back. First of all the pads have a wonderful "herbal" smell. They are actually herbal infused with mint, lavender, and aloe which are all safe for the "lady parts". The cooling effect is also something different and is enough to make me a customer for life. These are my new go to and I highly recommend.

I normally use the HoneyPot Pads that are non-herbal but needed to size up and my local Target only had the lavender herbal or the mint herbal pads. I was nervous at first to have any scent but after the initial first use don't have any tingle-y sensation etc. It's great quality with all the different pads they offer!

I 100% recommend Honey Pot products, as someone who has heavy flows and has to use pads and tampons these are great. Not sure if the cooling effect actually helps or it's a mind trick but I'm here for it.

I get these for my teen daughter, the cooling herbs help with discomfort. This is the only pad she likes.

The cooling sensation is a combination with the herbs is amazing. I use to suffer from irritation with other brands. So this brand offered a lot of benefits.

One of the best pads that I have used. Overall protection from leaks I've never had a problem. It is the pad I now use when I am on my period. Or the larger size when I am postpartum.

These do have a very low profile and don't feel super bulky like a lot of pads do. So I like that. And I appreciate the cotton cover that doesn't stick to your skin. I think I would like to try the non-herbal version though because these make everything feel like I rubbed a bunch of menthol on my skin, and that's a really uncomfortable feeling in that area. The pads on their own would actually feel really comfortable if it wasn't for that, but it's all I can think about as I go about my day. I don't even think I'll even finish the pack and will just go get the non-herbal ones. If you have sensitive skin or experience more sensitivity with things on your skin, I would stay away from these.

So they're comfortable, but the “mint” (honestly it just smells like herbs to me) burns so bad. Someone else said it beautifully, imagine just rubbing actual Vicks all over the most sensitive place on your body. I thought it would go away free a couple of minutes, but it lasts HOURS 😭 I don't like throwing things away but I can't imagine even giving these to someone

I really liked other Honey Pot products - the regular organic pad was excellent. I saw a few reviews about burning and figured maybe people were extra sensitive. I like lavender and use essential oils in my air purifier, etc. So I gave the lavender pads a try. Bad, Bad, Bad Idea! I'll give you the run down of the 5 minutes after putting on one of these pads - I ran out of my standard regular (non scented) organic Honey Pot pads and had one of these in my purse. Quickly changed pads before heading out. Popped in the car and drove off. Within 2 minutes it was like someone poured hot sauce on my nether regions. Seriously, this was not a mild tingle or a modest warm sensation but was fire burning. I had one hand on the steering wheel and the other trying (vainly but unsuccessfully) to pull the pad away from my skin. I am a modest person (as in I don't wear bikinis, don't like skimpy stuff) but I was close to pulling off to the side of the road and strip down to pull off this burning pad! Thank God I had a short drive or I might've had an indecent exposure charge. As it was, as soon as I reached my destination, I left my purse in the car, RAN to the door, RAN to the bathroom and yanked this pad off as fast as I could. After a water rinse, I was STILL burning. Next stop to the internet to post this review. I have no idea how any company could sell a product that gives such an extreme negative reaction. "Cooling"?! Hardly. Again, this wasn't a mild irritant but an intense, extreme "you have got to be kidding me!" experience. I hope that this review spares someone else from making the same mistake I did.

It burn and uncomfortable. I don't like it it's what I expected.
