Honeywell 120-Watt Par 38 LED Flood Light Bulb (2 Pack), E26 Light Bulb Base

These Honeywell Led Spotlights light up my back yard better than any I have ever used before and are only 15 watts each but put out the equivalent light of a 120 watt floodlight. I have a motion sensor floodlight that lights whenever my larger dog needs to go out at night and the entire yard lights brilliantly. Even the neighbors cat has learned to stay away from my yard during jts nightly prowl since I changed to these Led lights and J feel much safer about my entry door and storage building being well lit when movement is detected.

I've had flood lights on my house for several years. My light kit is a motion detector. I just leave the switch on because the bulbs don't illuminate unless triggered by motion. Most of my neighbors have them. But recently my bulbs burned out so I'm anxious to try my 2 new Honeywell. Honeywell's bulbs fit a standard 120-watt. What's interesting to me is they're advertised as parabolic aluminized reflector (PAR) 38 bulbs. I had to research what that meant. It means they control light more precisely. The LED PAR lights produce 4 times the light intensity. A PAR 38 is 4.75" in diameter. Honeywell's are Energy Star rated. They meet strict energy efficiency criteria set by the US Environmental Protection Agency or the US Department of Energy. (In other words, they use less power. I read online they use 4 times less power. Wowzah!) Each bulb shines a brilliant white light, brighter than that old yellowish glow. It's about 120' from the side of my house (where I've mounted my flood lights) to the front gate and the light penetrates the darkness right up to my gate. The bulb fit is perfect and I noticed on the box they come with a 5 year limited warranty. I highly recommend these bulbs.

These Honeywell LED Flood Light Bulbs are extremely bright! If you need to really light up a dark area around your house, these are the light bulbs to do the job. If you have flood lights near bedroom windows that you do not want lighting up the whole room when on, then these are not the lights for you. These lights provide a very clear bright light. Also there are little dots on the lens that projects dots on the ground.

I love how bright these lights are. They completely light up my driveway. It’s so bright that I can see them from afar as I’m driving off and a large periphery in all directions. Security is a concern as well as making sure I am not going to miss seeing something I should be looking out for. I will definitely be using the brightest I can get and right now these are it!

These Honeywell LED flood lights put out a nice bright 5000K white light. For comparison to show in the pictures, I left one incandescent bulb in on the left and the right is the new Honeywell LED. No more yellow halo on the right. Photographing lights is not easy. They are a little blinding but in the right spot they put out a great cast of lighting. I installed them in our backyard pool area, they are on a motion sensor but do not shine directly towards anyone who is sitting on the lanai. They have a 5 year warranty and the box says they will last 22 years, yeah right!!! I have had many Philips LED's fail and they make the warranty process difficult and expensive that its not worth sending a bulb back to the manufacturer. Hopefully these last a long time, and I do not have to deal with Honeywell's warranty. They are not really used daily so it should not be a problem. Luckily, LED's are more reasonably priced than they were 12 years ago. These LED flood lights fit in the motion detector perfect. The front of the light is flat and is a little hard to grab and turn while inserting but it can be done with caution. Overall I am happy with the lights, they are bright. They are not dimmable, but most spot lights are not.

Seems to be good bulbs for the money

I like the size of this lightbulb for a floodlight and the level of illumination it puts out. It really provides bright light for my outside area end it is a nice white illumination and not a bright fluorescent or a more yellow hue like the other light I have in the socket in the picture. The Bob provides a good level of light with an appealing tone and is a good size to cover a good area. Still going strong after two weeks.

These came quickly and I must say brighter than expected. We’re able to see further and wider than old halogen bulbs. Even our neighbors noticed the brighter lights on back porch. Definitely recommend.

These LED flood lights are much bigger than a typical flood light. Since they're bigger, you get a bigger area covered in bright light. It's almost like a spotlight. They are made of light weight plastic that makes them easier to handle. They are so bright. I put them in my bathroom in the recessed lighting. Wow you can see everything! Upon receiving these floodlights I was impressed with the fairly lightweight plastic body and polycarbonate lens. That means, it won't leave a mess of shattered glass it it gets dropped.They work as advertised with a very bright wide angle lighted area. As an outdoor floodlight it would provide very good lighting at an economical price. 15 Watts versus 120 Watts is a pretty big reduction in electricity not mention you wouldn't have to worry about your electrical circuit being overloaded. Our garage has a vaulted ceiling so I put one in there (see picture) and it seemed to work out very well, especially being over the engine compartment of our car. With an expected life of over 20 years, seems like a pretty wise investment to me. For some reason I wasn't able to get the picture right side up. please rotate.
