Honeywell 40" Black Quiet Set Oscillating Tower Fan, 30ft Air Circulation Power, 8 Speed, Auto off Timer, HYF290B

I downsized my life and sold my house and moved to a rental. Now I'm used to having a ceiling fan in the bedroom, but landlord said I couldn't put one in. A friend suggested this fan, and I have to say, I've never slept better! It has multiple settings, and I stay cool with it on Calm or Relax settings, and it's super quiet! I wish I'd known about this fan 4 years ago when my central air went out in my house; I would've bought this instead of those $40 large floor fans that are noisy and don't cool you down. I would highly recommend this product!

The fan has multiple features such as PowerCool, Cool, Refresh, Relax, White Noise, Calm, Whisper, and Sleep. It also cools efficiently without excessive noise. The design is stable and durable as well. In addition to the fan being able to stay on continuously, it can also be set on a 1, 2, 4, or 8 hour timer. The fan also has the option to oscillate or not. A light can also be turned on or off to indicate the power mode. This would be especially nice to turn off when using for sleep. It also comes with a remote that can be stored on the back of the unit. Minimal assembly was required as well. I am beyond satisfied with this fan!

It's the perfect combination of powerful and quiet. I have other fans in the home and, no exaggeration, they pale in comparison to this one. The assembly is kind of annoying but once you've got it going, you're good. It's lasted very well and I'm looking to get more.

However, there are times when I can appreciate the quietness of the operation. But I love how tall and skinny it is. I love how it has so many options. I highly recommend this fan.

It can be placed almost anywhere in a room, and it is quiet enough to not be irritating. I especially like the timer and light dimming options.

We've been using it for a while now and it works great! There are a ton of settings to choose from, and it's surprisingly quiet even when running for long periods. It cools the room well without being disruptive. Honestly, everyone In our house fights over who gets to use it. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a powerful but quiet fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tower fan has 8 different settings! It's great if you want a soft silent breeze, or a more powerful cool breeze. Having a remote makes it great to change the speed and oscillation from wherever you're sitting or sleeping, as well! Not too heavy to lift, but still very sturdy.

I absolutely love how quiet this fan is compared to my previous fans that I'm used to. (cheaper pedestal or box fans) the lowest setting is hardly noticeable on the lowest setting or even some settings above the lowest depending on your environment. it definitely cools down my humid bedroom especially when it's turning. also lower settings are very effective to cooling the room down when you put the oscillation mode on, honestly I rather lower settings with oscillation on over high settings with no oscillation, though that is a personal preference I recommend trying. also, it looks much better in person. but the reason I put a 4 star rating over 5 stars is because 1. I don't really like the controls, it doesn't let you go back and fourth to reach a setting, you have to let it go all the way up before it goes back down. 2. while this one is a bit contradicting, but I notice it sounds pretty mechanical rather than like wind blowing, it's low, but it's mildly annoying. it's something I'll get used to though, it's a nit picky take. 3. the setup process was unusual to me, not hard and simple on paper, just confusing. it involved some trial and error and breaking a small piece of the stand by accident (nothing harmful or notable) before I actually figured out what I was supposed to do. basically the wire of the fan must go in between the red locking collar (I believe its called?) otherwise you'll have to start over, and if you already locked the stand in place it'll be hard since I didn't see anything to press and pull to take off the stand. so just keep note of that if you buy this fan and put it together. overall, if youre someone like me who needs a quiet room for whatever reason or don't want fan noise constantly, I would recommend this fan.

The fan is quiet and cool. The one thing I wish is that it would cover a larger area as I keep it in a bedroom, and it barely keeps the Bedroom cool and fresh. I purchased this for the fact that this summer I’ve been spending $70 just on cooling alone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is very functional. It supports multiple modes that even includes a "white noise" feature if you have trouble sleeping. It is pretty powerful but not quite as strong as a pedestal oscillation fan. I use this in my bedroom as it keeps the room cooler all day and at night I can use the remote to set the mode and intensity I need for a comfortable sleep. It even has a timer that will automatically turn off after 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. I would definately recommend this product for its features and versatility.
