Lower fat, less moisture, more flavor
This product can enhance any number of dishes. It is a bit of a tough chew in salads where it may not get rehydrated but in cooking any dish the flavor will blossom as it gets moistened. Definitely more meaty than fatty. That means it is a better deal per ounce.

My favorite convenience bacon
This is by far my favorite bacon bits! I use it on salad, baked potatoes, sprinkled on eggs, ice cream, sometimes nachos...I usually cook my own for the price (check cost per pound of both raw and this and you will see). As for sandwiches or the occassional traditional breakfast, I still cook my own bacon. But this is great for that quick fix on something.

My favorite!
These are the best tasting bacon bits ever. They are real bacon pieces that we have used in seasoning foods and as an added extra for salads. So good!

Decent time-saving home-made bacon alternative
I do not trust any kind of packaged meat. If these weren't bits that I couldn't examine them and remove grisel and hard bits, I wouldn't use them. For best flavor, about a tablespoon, heat in microwave wave (30 seconds) with a little butter.

Or as much as I paid for it, I expected it to be a 1/2 pound or more.Instead , I got a small bag and that's what I was trying to order was the large bag. this is Not the fault of the driver , this is the fault of whoever is in charge of pricing
