HORMEL Real Crumbled Bacon Topping, Shelf Stable, 20 oz Plastic Resealable Pouch

This product is just one of those items that are so handy to have around! I love to make breakfast scrambles and having ready-to-go crumbled bacon makes the process go faster. Baked potatoes, ramen, you name it, it will probably be better with a little bacon!

I LOVE this giant bag of precooked REAL hormel bacon crumbles. I use it on everything. It makes preparation quick and food taste great. It does not have the fatty pieces that other brands have. I always make sure I have one in the fridge and one in the cupboard or freezer. ( not all locations have this size)

It's great, love not having to make my own bacon crumbles. You'd be amazed at how many things I've added them to, it's just so easy to do! A lot more meat and less fat than other brands. The price has gone up tho, so we don't buy it as often as we did. But it's definitely yummy!

I love these bacon bits because they're already cooked and ready to eat out of the bag. The comparable store brand from Costco is not such as this. Theirs has a lot of fat content. I need to microwave it to get crispy. This Hormel brand has no fat and is ready to eat by the handfuls right out of the bag. I recommend fully. Excellent.

Many cheaper brands don't fully cook the bacon, so you're essentially paying for excess fat (around 25% of the total weight, in my estimation). The slightly higher price of Hormel is worth double the cost because you don't have to re-cook it to remove the fat, saving paper towels and energy.

They asked me what I thought of this as a snack. The thought never crossed my mind. (Bacon instead of popcorn while watching a movie?? Not!!) Other than that, this is a GREAT product. I use it for everything!! I put it in hot dishes, grits, oatmeal, omelets, on sandwiches (advacado, egg, and bacon Yumm!!), and egg bakes, beans, veggies, and soups. I love that there is no bacon mess. Oh yea, works well in salads too!! Highly recommend this product. Do not ever stop making it!!

The smokey flavor adds flavor to baked beans, omelets, potato salad and more. I get lots of compliments on my baked beans when I bring baked beans to potlucks. They add a nice bacon flavor because they are made with meat instead of something that is not meat. They are a nice touch to salads, you can snack on a few but they can be salty.

Gave it a try and was pleased with the product. Bacon is not on my to eat list but these bits add a tiny bit of taste sprinkled on my scrambled eggs or green salad . 1 tablespoon and just enough taste to satisfy me. Has to be Hormel. Other brands have much fat and no taste.

This is not seller specific. The pieces are too tiny and sometimes too cooked/burnt. When done right worth the price. we never have a guarantee of whether these are seconds or first batch of excellant quality. be aware that marketing will get rid of product any way they can.

Out of 6 bags ordered (07-16-25 to 07-28-25), half of them had about eight 1/2 inch to 1-1/2 inch clumps of bacon stuck together with white grease/contamination. At the bottom of the bag, there was a 1 inch thick by 6 inch diameter clump of grease/contamination. (See Photos.) I reported problem to Hormel Foods-Lead Consumer Engagement Specialist and she didn't seem concerned or willing to replace the bags or refund. FYI, I had an ER visit late one night in time frame using these for abdomen pain!
