Unfortunately I purchased what was sold as vegetable garden soil. I filled up two 12x4 raised beds and planted seeds and plants from 3 different non-gmo, organic farms. The plants came up but then twisted and became a gnarly mess and died. I showed the State Extension office and their socialist said the soil was tainted with herbicides. I was crushed. I read up on what I could do to help my soil and it was this charcoal and another product which I ordered. I hope this year's crop will be much different. If you have soil that's lacking maybe this product would help your soil out too.
This charcoal is great when planting or replanting your plants in your big or small gardens! It mixes in really well when mixing in other nutrients and the granules are a great size. I recently had a really bad fungus gnat infestation and had to repot everything, I use this at the bottom of each of my pots when replanting and then mixed this in my soil of each pot as well for oder and moisture control, weeds, and eith my mushrooms compost and since then, everything has been up to snuff for the last few months!

Adds life to the soil, gets rid of vad orders and speeds uo germination and soil and seed detoxification. Love it.

used for terrariums worked good. my friend used it on a smoke smelling purse she bought. she placed a small packet in a plastic bag. left for 3 days and the smell was gone.
This was great to control pests, increase moisture, and add nutirents to my soil.
Easy to use with the soil mix for my plants.
The bag is much smaller than I thought it would be. It also says it's a quart, when it's actually only 2 2/3 cups or 7.4 ounces!
