I've read that Lions Mane may help with dementia which runs on my mother's side of the family. I have zero knowledge about my father's family. I'm a 73 year old female and am being proactive. I'm very fit, have good nutrition and follow the health studies pertaining to memory loss. I am doing this for my husband, children and grandchildren as I want to be present as long as possible for them.
I was skeptical to try this one because it was cheaper than some of the other brands but it worked just the same as little to no taste. I just drop it in my coffee every morning and go and I can definitely feel the clarity difference.
Great for mind if you have any cognitive issues
Feeling more clear minded.
Great value and quality. Very pleased with the result and flavor. I would recommend.
a little bitter but worth it. chasing it with something with citrus helps. i feel better after a few weeks of taking this. Good in moderation.
I Really like this product
I am a recovering alcoholic I didn't know this was 30-40% alc…. It works extremely well but if I wake the monster in me my life is over. Maybe you would consider that many recovering alcoholics use supplements to try to substitute for the lack of alcohol. Having it in the tincture is it necessary?
This line of mushroom products is by a globally recognized mycologist with multiple patents. It is likely the most honest and trustworthy on the market with regard to legitimate research and product ingredient sourcing. This product is made in the USA and similar competitors to it source their mushrooms from China where the species identification and sourcing isn't as robust or transparent. That being said, I was really excited to try lion's mane because of listed benefits. However, I have a really sensitive system and only took half the recommended dosing. Within minutes I felt a warm rush wash over my body and had some moderate bodily discomfort for 1-2 hours until I leveled out and felt normal. Some of my symptoms included rapid heart rate, fatigue, and periodic shortness of breath. Could have been anxiety as well, but after trying another line of mushroom products: Mushroom Complex: (lions mane, reishi, cordyceps, chaga, agarica etc.) I had a more severe and extended reaction. Took a day to recover. So. My advise is try less than the suggested dose with mushroom products. They have known adaptogen, medicinal, and antiviral compounds but there are no clinical studies on human benefits or side affects, despite long history of various cultures using them for this purpose. Everyone's body responds differently. It is also likely useful to try each type of mushroom by itself and not in a blended formula because it is harder to isolate which one of the mushrooms could be causing adverse reaction. There also isn't a clear consensus on dosing. Some of these do lower blood pressure (ie Reishi) which I did experience with the product line Mushroom Complex. So. If you take meds for hypertension, diabetes etc. Recommend doing your research and consulting with a doctor prior although most doctors don't have much knowledge of homeopathic options. It might be possible to skip a dose on meds, try the product, and monitor vitals and sugars for several hours after but that is at your discretion and it's trial and error, and probably better to involve your doctor in that decision process.
It's so gross. it made me gag. Even if it is good for you, I couldn't stomach it
