To start off, it was a lot smaller than expected, but it had a flavor like no other! The lemon flavor was absolutely delicious. The cake stayed moist and did not leave any greasy film or any aftertaste like others. My family would definitely recommend this to others.

The Hostess chocolate cupcake was a staple in my school lunch for years until we found the Orange in a trip to the store one day. I don't know if my taste buds changed or the recipe did, but the chocolate no longer has the same taste, but the Orange is incredible, still! Now as an adult, even at age 62, I have them at least twice a week... still!! Always a go-to, adore the Orange and have wonderful memories of the Chocolate!

But oh my… they absolutely blew me away! Each one perfectly wrapped, soft, and sweet in all the right ways, with a heavenly aroma that burst with real orange. We are obsessed - these little delight have claimed a permanent spot in our home!

The cake was soft and moist, and the cream filling in the middle was smooth. The orange frosting gives it a strong citrus flavor and you can smell it right away, which I liked, but it might be a little too much if you're not into orange. The texture overall was really soft and fresh, not dry at all. The only thing is it's pretty sugary (you can tell), so I wouldn't eat more than one at a time. Overall, it's a good treat if you want something sweet with a different flavor.

The orange flavor isn’t over powering & doesn’t taste overly artificial either & doesn’t have any weird aftertastes or residues! They got smaller and the taste is different. It could be i have not have in a long time. It still good.
