Hostess Zingers Snack Cakes, Raspberry & Coconut Covered Cake with Crème Filling, 10 Count, 13.4 oz Box

Until very recently these were my favorite snack cake. I bought 2 boxes of these and the 1st box was perfect, everything was as it always was. Then I opened the 2nd box. Every Zinger was 3/4 its usual size but the box and wrappers were still sized to accommodate normal sized Zingers, making it painfully obvious they were in the process of shrinking my favorite treat. It also seems that they're still using the full amount of creme filling which in my opinion is far too much for the smaller cakes.

The item has been a favorite for many years. Hostess is the very best when it comes to their consistency in quality, flavor, and satisfaction. ***The product itself is a definite 5 Star. However, regarding order delivery from Walmart, better care and attention should be taken in the packaging of any fragile items (fresh food, some especially if one or more items will be delivered separately by another driver. when an order is split into more than one. items are delivered separately to avoid package damage and the breaking and/or crushing of the contents.

This product has different prices determined by the individual store. The Riverside store has a great price, while the Corona store 3 miles away has a terrible price. The cakes have a unique raspberry coconut coating which makes them quite tasty. Shrinkflation has made them smaller than before but this is actually a good thing. The smaller size is perfect for a quick junk food fix.

Yummy and fresh! Always a nice and different than chocolate (🤎) treat! I don't understand why these aren't offered at my Walmart and always require a “delivery” which takes an entire day or more. My local Walmart is a smaller one because the neighborhood was against it. So I get it's likely the lack of space. Perhaps a holding warehouse some place close ? I am always waiting for sold out or must be delivered items. Often times I'll go to my local grocery stores or Target. Walmart is missing out on lots of business I'm sure.

The entire product tastes bitter more like cocoa than the devils food flavor it is known for. The last 4 times I've bought zingers in the last year the product has a texture that typically comes from baked goods being exposed to air for too long even though the packaging is properly sealed. Just all around disappointed 😔😔😔

Did you really think we wouldn't notice?? I'm so mad that I wasted my money on these. Not because we don't love them, but because I just opened a box of Zingers & Twinkies and you shrunk them!! The prices go up, but you miniaturized the cakes!! Disappointing!!! I absolutely refuse to buy them again and I am certain many will feel the same way when they see what a rip off Hostess has become.

I have discovered that Hostess has shrunk both the size an amount of all their products just like everyone else. You get less an pay more everyone has gotten very greedy in the Food Industry. It's sad that us consumers have to pay for their greed.

These have been my fav snack since I was a kid. So tasty. But they are less flavorful and have less coconut than they used. All these companies are cheapening their products. It's a real shame.

I've always loved Zingers. it's been a while since I've had them and I couldn't help but notice how small they now are compared to what they used to be.
