Absolutely perfect for snack sizing, for school occasions, these are beyond and above for the amount of uses!! If I don't inhale the box on its own, these have become a household dessert via crockpot. Just layer the bottom of the crock, add a can of pie filling/fruit of your choice & let it simmer! SO MANY recipes, from cherry pie lasagna to cherry pie cinnamon rolls, these are phenomenal!

They are fresh tasting but the inside is a little drier than the larger Hostess pies I remember. I might just be due to the size. Still a great and convenient little snack!

The crust feels more like a dry cracker, and the outer sugar glaze is just okay. The cherry filling is more like a cherry spread without real cherries inside. I think these are more suitable for children, and that's who I'd recommend them to.

There was barely any inside, which left most bites tasting like plain crust instead of the fruity flavor I was expecting. For something advertised as a fruit pie, I thought the filling would be the star, but it felt more like an afterthought. Overall, not worth buying again unless they improve the ratio of filling to crust.
