These taste like the old Hostess recipe. I should know, I was the guy delivering them. Only difference, these are 1/2 size. That's ok tho, probably don't need the extra calories. my only wish tho, is that they had the extra flavors like cherry, choc pudding, blueberry, etc...

Delicious, in any way you see fit to consume. For me, it is stopping the consume. Yep, its that good! First off, step away from your mommas apron. This is not your lovin from the oven apple pie you may have been lucky enough to have made for you. This is a convenience item. Like the latter category, the checkout counter is no place to get a piece of apple pie! But if there are no bakers around, this will blow the other wax wraps away. The crust is very tasty and has been preserved for shelf life, so will likely be good, even if you forgot you had a box of these pre covid. The filling is also improved upon since I had my first pie when it looked like a moon folded in half. Overall, a perfect and well designed snack of biblical purportions. An incredible value thrown in for free!

these little Debbie mini apple pies are so delicious when I ordered these I didn't expect for these little Debbie apple pies would be this delicious the crust is baked perfect and the filling is out of sight they are just delicious I will be ordering these little Debbie apple pies again.Thank you Walmart.

these pies are some of the most tasty pies I've had in a long time. I'm about three boxes at a time so I don't run out. the crust is crispy sweet and it's good until the last bite. I would definitely recommend these over many of the other name brands

Wish you got more than 8 to a box! But Little Debbie has another hit for the taste. Downside is that they are small and you only get 8. You can warm them in the microwave put a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top and drizzle with a little Carmel sauce... Perfect small dessert.

I love these Little Debbie Snacks, and their Apple Fruit Pies is no exception. A bit pricey, but really good. They are hard to find also. My usual local Walmart does not even sell them. So I have to travel over 20 miles to the next Walmart store from my house just to get these Apple Fruit Pies at that other Walmart store. I do not know why some Walmarts sells some things and other local Walmarts do NOT sell the same item. And this is one item that I barely can find at any nearby Walmart Stores. All Walmart stores grocery sections should all carry the same things when it comes to snackfoods, cereals, meats, dairy products, water, soda pop, breads, bakery goods, various meats, canned foods and other food products. Of course certain Walmarts in other areas of the US have speciality stuff due to racial profiles of the local populations there such as either larger varieties of Asian or Spanish foods, both foods I really do like to eat too......and around here, it's just basic foods for Asian and Spanish tastes for this area. 5 stars for these yummy Little Debbie Apple Fruit Pies!!

Ohmygoodness really loved these little apple pies . The taste of caramel and the spices from slow cooking the apples is a marvelous combination. I could really eat the whole box at one sitting but I choose to have one after supper so I can say I ate all my veggies before indulging in the most delicious little apple pie. The size and taste takes me back to my childhood .Highly recommend but be aware buy two boxes at once because the first one goes sooooo fast .

The size is fine, there's less in the box than there used to be, but everyone is downsizing and charging the same (or more) these days, so its not like it isn't expected. What I DID NOT expect was to have a few of these pies have what I believe is fibrous apple stem in them. At first, as I was chewing it, I thought it was just a few tiny bits of hard apple skin in the filling of 3 pies, then I found this in one, picked it out of my mouth and put it back on the wrapper (see the picture) so I believe it's a stem. I don't think I'd be getting this one again, the cherry pies are usually a solid bet (if I don't eat one right before bed because they do give heartburn!). I switched from them, unfortunately, and I'll probably wait a while before trying the apple ones again.

Little Debbie is scamming people with this product, no apples at all, I mean none, crust is great, cinnamon taste is great, but no apples.. huge rip off, I got 2 boxes and none had apples

I had my groceries delivered from Walmart and went for an after dinner snack/desert. The box wasn't open and tore open one of the fruit pies and bit down into it and was super hard and crumbles like it was dried out. Checked out the box to see the expiration date and sure enough it's well past!
