Hot Shot No-Pest Strip2, Kills Flying & Crawling Insects, 1 Count

I used this in my recycle bin in the garage becuase the bin attracts flies. It has worked to keep them out of the bin. This was a dificult product to find, but Walmart had it. I'll probably order it again from Walmart in a year.

We live full time in our RV. Going in an out allows flies, mosquitoes, etc, to enter. I have two of these hanging in the camper. by morning, no more flying insects to upset the balance of comfort. They last for at least 3 months. Yes, I could use smelly sprays or sprinkle insecticide to act faster, but we have 2 cats and 2 dogs that we love. These hang high and have no odor and by hanging out of reach, pose no danger to our pets. Wouldn't go the insect months without them! Oh, they take care of the spiders too!

This product does the job on whiteflies, spiders, and other bugs. They just seem to disappear after a few days. I replace them every four months and regret it when time gets the better of me.

Very easy to use and not messy at all. I would reccomend these to anyone wanting to rid themselves of them.

Easty to install and option to stand or hang.

I was nervous about using the hot shot no-pest strip because of the warning to not use in a room that has pets or people in it more than 4 hours. I decided to use it just in the garage. So far so good. I have not seen any pests. I do love that there is no mess left behind like other sprays I also like that it is active for up to four months. I will use this in my garage again. I recommend reading the directions and making sure it is safe for the space you intend it for.

It's missing the clip-on piece at the top to hang it. So it sits on my counter by the sink %26 I knock it over, it falls in the water. Ruining it

I know you can either hang this or set it on the ground and maybe it would work better hanging. I just know I opened it and let it sit in my garage for over a month. I haven't seen less bugs in there than normal I haven't noticed a pile of bugs sitting around it and there's no real way for me to confirm if it's working or not. So I'm not really sure how to rate this. I would imagine that it helps and doesn't harm but it's just hard to tell. I tried a couple of different places in my garage - closer to my house entrance and closer to the entrance to the garage door. I still have cockroaches and spiders in my garage but I don't know what the range of this is supposed to be. Anyway I wish there was a better way to tell how well it works but my garage is large and there isn't a small confined space that's safe for me to put this in to test it's effectiveness.
