Hot Tools Pro Signature 1" Ceramic Digital Hair Flat Iron, Purple

This hair straightener is amazing! I have long, thick and sometimes frizzy hair that is often difficult to control and this thing does the job! It glides smoothly on my hair, heats up quickly, and leaves my hair feeling soft and looking smooth and shiny. I also really like that it tells you what temperature you're at and displays it on an LCD digital heat setting screen. And it goes all the way up to 450 degrees. So it will straighten all different hair types and textures. And it heats up really fast, it took only about thirty seconds to fully heat up. Which is great for anyone who has very little time to get ready in the morning. I've never had a hair straightener heat up so fast before, and I have owned a lot of straighteners thru the years! Overall, I have no complaints whatsoever, and give it two thumbs up. It's a great straightener and would highly recommend!

This is an amazing straightener. I haven't gotten a new straightener since 2013. So this is definitely an upgrade. For starters it heats up very quickly. It took less than 30 seconds to reach 400 degrees. I also liked that the display on the straightener starts off as blue and shows the temperature that the straightener is at as it is heating up. Once it is done heating up, the display light turns green. It also stays hot the whole time you're using it. The hot plates on the straightener are also rounded so it won't be pulling on your hair. The cord of the straightener is also a pretty good length. There is also a ring attached to the end of the straightener that you can hang it up by. This is very convenient because then you won't have to hang it up by the cord itself. The straightener also worked great on my hair. I loved how my hair felt afterwards. I have pretty damaged hair and it felt super smooth after I used the straightener. I was even able to easily run my fingers through my hair afterwards, which was not the case with my old straightener. The only thing that I think it should have had was a latch to close up the straightener when you're done using it. I believe that this could be a very useful safety precaution.

I love my new straightening iron by hot tools! I have super frizzy, puffy, unruly hair! I cant just use any rinky drink straightening iron on my hair. I need it to get hot and its heat level is pretty impressive. It also has digital settings which is pretty nice. Also the purple color is super cute and feminine. It has an automatic shutdown mechanism in case I accidentally leave it on which is very reassuring as a mother of two rambunctious little boys they can distract me easily and I would never want to start a fire so that is a most definite plus. It can go up to 450 degrees which is super hot but it adjustable so if you have more sensitive hair you can lower the heat setting. I've own 150 dollar straightening irons and this one definitely is just as great. I love my new straightening iron!

The digital flat iron is amazing very easy to control the temperature it works very well i even tried it on my wet hair and it works just as well it's also very well put together a lot of flat irons are cheap and break easy but the digital one is so amazing great product

This flat iron is amazing. I was able to straighten my REALLY thick hair in a fraction of the time it takes me with the flat iron I already own. I love that this flat iron shows you the temperature as it goes up and reaches the temp it is set for and it reaches that temperature quickly. I am absolutely in love with this flat iron. With other straighteners that I have used they, have a tendency to pull on my hair and break the hairs, this flat iron does not do that. This flat iron leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth when I am all done using it. This flat iron does not get too hot and tends to keep the static down. I live in Florida where frizz and static are always at a high, but this flat iron helps to manage the unmanageable. I would highly suggest this flat iron to anyone in the market to purchase one.

Let me starts by saying that this straightener is BEAUTIFUL! Like, stunning! It isn't purple like it looks on the box/screen it is more of a deep navy and is gorgeous! The gold plates accent it perfectly! I love the LCD screen and how clear it is, and the green indicator when it gets to the set temperature. Also the plates are so smooth to run through your hair! What left a little to be desired were the plates themselves. They are a little more than a half inch shorter than my previous flat iron. Also, they don't really hold your hair tight between them. When I straightened my slightly wavy hair it took three passes to get to a desired look. For the price point I honestly thought it would do better. But! Overall it is a beautiful tool, that has some great features, but a little lack luster on the actual performance for the price point.

Easy to use this flat iron. 1 1/2" ceramic flat iron. Custom heat settings make it easy for different hair types. Up to 450* . My daughter was able to use herself easily. Her hair is naturally curly and it turned out very soft and smooth. Loved the results. Will definitely use.

I received the Hot Tools Signature Series 1 inch ceramic digital flat iron. The iron is very easy to use just hold in the on/off button and pick your desired temperature. I went with the highest temperature of 450. I have very thick and curly hair so i like the highest setting to get it done faster. Once Led screen lights up green, your ready to start doing your hair. I love the appearance of this straightener, fleek and a very nice purple color. For me, this straightener doesn't work quite so well. I feel like my hair comes out of the plates very easily. I feel like i have to squeeze the straightener Tightly in order to get it to get my hair to stay in place in the plates. I also think it makes my hair a bit frizzy more than my other straightener. I would say this would work fine for someone with thin, straight hair. For me, I need something more professional since my hair is very thick and curly. I'm happy to have a backup just incase.

The Hot Tools Signature Series Flat Iron, 1-1.5, Purple. It has an auto shut off and heats in 30 secs. while it is a cute looking straightener, my first time using it I was smelling burning plastic and I thought I might have left a bag out but no it was the heat of the straightener. It does heat up rather well but I think it is to hot and is why on the second and third time trying it out the smell still would not leave. It has temp that go as high as 450°F. It also kept making a clicking noise which I unplugged and left it alone. Not a product I'd recommend.

Was interested in giving this Hot Tools Signature Series Ceramic Digital flat iron a trial on my super frizzy hair. I already have a flat iron that works perfectly on my hair, and figured this one was going to be just as good or better. This flat iron proved me wrong. Even though this flat iron heats up very quickly, it did not slide thru my hair easily and would snag and pull my hair. So, if you are looking for a fast heating flat iron but not ease and comfort, this flat iron will be perfect for you.
