I thought I was ordering an assortment of "Basic cars". What ARRIVED was MUPPETS non "basic" vehicles. Should have been labeled as such! Fortunately, I ordered these for my 2 yr. old grandson (no judgement, please... he doesn't put anything in his mouth - all he does is vroom, vroom with them) and NOT my 10 yr. old grandson. Reaction would have been quite different!

It was what I expected, some repeats out of 25 though if they cared I know they could've easily prevented that because I've seen how many they have and some of these are older so certainly they have way too many hotwheels. The cars were fun, but compared to the ones from when I was a kid (late 2000s-late 2010s) the cars feel worse. I was pretty rough with mine but they didn't dent except one when they crashed but on the ones with metal it feels thin and flims, which was disappointing. If you have very very rough kids I can see these becoming more damaged and maybe even cracked and broken metal could form sharp stabby bits with extra violent kids. I wonder if the downgrade is because of how they are leaning so far into the premium ones so they want these bad enough that they really feel like toys, the metal is visibly thinner but they also weigh nothing, I have my old cars and even ones that should be identical are vastly different. It is good for kids to have toys like these, but if you know your kids are super destructive think twice, I know I would've hurt myself, I actually did once on a cheap knockoff one of similar quality and thickness of these today. Also they cost way too much. They used to be made with more and better material and sold for 99 cents, they make them cheaper and yet they now cost more. They are cheaper enough that I doubt that they are losing profit to inflation....though maybe because of lowering demand since kids don't play with toys anymore.

When I originally ordered it stated a 6 pack in the product description. And stating the item was originally $8.99 and it was clearanced out for 94¢. Hot wheels are usually) $1.18 a piece so 94¢ is still a little bit of a discount but definitely not as much as was advertised. I ordered two packs of six but I only got two cars. I thought I could trust Walmart to not charge stuff like this so I never thought to screenshot it. If you find a deal that might be too good to be true it probably is but if you’re going to try your luck screenshot the description right after you purchase an item.

When you advertise a “no duplicates” item, customers expect that you've put in place a process to ensure it. If that process isn't being followed—or worse, if employees are ignoring it out of convenience or apathy—then the company needs to take action. I work hard for my money. When I order something that promises specific value and quality, I expect to receive what I paid for. The issue isn't just the product itself—it's the principle behind it. Employee Training: Employees fulfilling orders need to understand that “random” does not mean “careless.” They are representing the Walmart brand with every package they touch. This review isn't written out of anger alone—it's written out of disappointment from a loyal customer who expected better. Walmart is a company with the resources, logistics, and reputation to do things right. But if that standard doesn't reach down to the individual employee level—if the people picking and packing orders don't care—then all that infrastructure means nothing.

I bought 10 items. There were 10 repeats instead of assorted ones. Damaged packaging.

No new mainline $1.30 hotwheels for months? At the Cortez Store West Bradenton Florida? No selection. Nearly.. empty pegs and the same 15. Or one car on each peg.

They sent me said review this product so I ordered the product. Everybody was saying they got multiple cars. I got one car they're supposed to be like six cars in a variety to pack but that's not what I got. I do not recommend this product unless you can go in the store in person and get it yourself but if you're ordering online, it is not worth it.
