This product didn't work the first time we tried it, but ended up working great, with some perseverance. I would definitely recommend this toy!

It's a nice toy, I paid $50 at Xmas, so I think it was expensive for what you get but I have really enjoyed making cars with my son, I have now purchased 6 or 7 mold pack (refill kits) that include the base of the cars at $10 a pack when on sale. Again I think it's fun, my son really enjoys it and I have now purchased it for our neighbor as a birthday gift.

Bought it a month ago and so happy that i did...!!

My grandson got this for Christmas. After messing up the first one, not reading the full instructions. We managed to get three cars out of the pack. Even if we had gotten 4 cars, they would have been $12.50 each. So now, what do you do, they sell the colors, they sell a NEW car mold with a color and chassis. but they don't sell chassis and accessories. so each car, going forward, is going to cost about $8 each (the mold, with tax, is over $16). I wanted to like this, but when you can buy the cars at big stores, for $1 each, it just doesn't make sense.

Well I would give 5 stars but was only able to make one car out of the four cars that come with it..It did issues when it came to mixxing the silicone.it act like the silicone was old and started to harden in the tubes .well I guess I'm going to have to spend more money and try a new pack of silicone to get the other three cars made..my kids were disappointed in the hot wheels product..Maybe with the new silicone I can finish the last three cars up..when I can produce the other three cars then I will change my rating...

There's a reason this item was discontinued - don't waste your time or money. The timing mechanism doesn't work properly so if you follow the directions provided, you won't be able to fill the entire mold. Thankfully, my husband figured out that if you warm up the silicone in a glass of hot water first and pump the mechanism in just the right way, you can get it to work. We also had to order a number of refill packs to have enough material to make up for the learning curve. Love the concept, successful execution is unrealistic. Also, these cars are notably heavier than standard Hot Wheels cars so they don't work properly on any curved or loopy tracks.

Purchased for Christmas. My item never arrived and I have sent multiple emails about it and seller will not respond

Two of the four cars didn't make properly as the resin only half filled the mold. Also there is a huge amount of plastic that goes into landfill for only for very small cars (assuming you are lucky enough to get 4!)

I bought 2 kits so each of my boys would have one. Wish I hadn't, biggest piece of junk I have bought from hot wheels. Molds won't fill completely, a tube is suppose to make 2 cars, mixture dries in nozzle after 1, so swapped nozzles for second try. Still won't fill mold, third try is to swap to other mold, after replacing nozzle again and different color. After all said and done, 7 tries later we have 1 car made. Don't waste your money.
