[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Hot Wheels MarioKart Chain Chomp Track Set as part of the Play, Rate, Review program. My grandson was ecstatic when he saw the MarioKart Hot Wheels box. He immediately ripped it open to get the pieces. Adult assembly was required by clicking the pieces together and putting on stickers. Our set included Donkey Kong in a car but there are other characters available (some Hot Wheels cars work too). To play you have set the lock, crank the knob, then turn the button on which starts the chomper spinning and punch down on launcher which sends the car around the track. Hopefully your car doesn't get slammed by the chomper. My grandson had so much fun and was laughing so hard at Donkey Kong racing around the track. The adults had fun reminiscing about MarioKart video games. This is a great addition to your Hot Wheels collection!

This set is pretty simple to put together. My 6 year old figured it out but needed a little assistance clicking the pieces in. He really loved it at first but he did get bored with it rather quickly. It's a small set and doesn't do a lot. It would be better if it came with another character as it only comes with the gorilla. Seems sturdy enough for plastic and is easy to store so that's good. I received this toy To review for my 5 year old son. He did enjoy playing with it for a bit but honestly lost interest after awhile. The toy itself was easy to put together but I would suggest having the stickers already in place. That was a pain for me as the parent to put on while he sat there telling me 300 times he wanted to play with it so I honestly stopped after the 5th sticker. He seemed to enjoy the track but the car itself wouldn't make its way around the “jump”. It would fall off the track. I even tried it at different pressures and it still never made it around. Very poor quality. Gears did not work. This had to be returned to the store.
