Hotel Style Peyton Metal Shower Hooks with Easy Glide, Brushed Nickel, Set of 12

Who knew a nice pair of shower hooks could really brighten your day. It is so nice to not have to worry about them coming apart and constantly reattaching them like my previous shower hooks. It is so easy to put them on. You don't have to clip, snap or twist. Just slide them through the curtain. They also look great! The box also says they have a No Rust guarantee. I have not had them long enough to see if they rust but there is a phone number on the back of the box to call for a replacement if you ever do experience rust.

It might sound crazy to say these hooks changed my life but they did. For years I’ve suffered pain in my shoulder when I have to take down the shower curtain to wash or replace the liner, but now I can easily do this job myself. I actually never noticed these in hotels but now I do. They glide so effortlessly across the bar and as I said, lift right off when you need them too; but they don’t come off at any other time. These are one of the greatest inventions ever. I recommend everyone to immediately replace those other awful rings with these new modern style. These should be the only shower curtain hooks sold. There’s no reason to buy those old outdated torturous snap rings anymore. I’m telling everyone about them. I love them.

I really like these hooks. they are much easier to put the shower curtain on the hooks by just sliding the curtain over the hook. With the beads being a bit larger i thought maybe the curtain wouldn't go over the beads very well but it just rolled on almost easier then without. The large button on the end prevents the curtain from falling off and it looks great. Mine is in brushed nickel which matches the other items in my bathroom. The beads on the hook give it a much smoother glide on the bar and are quieter then I expected. The only problem and it really isn't much of a problem is that the end hook comes off the rod once in a great while. When I want to wash my shower curtain it is much easier to get on and off with this style hook.

These shower hooks are easy to install. They are basically like an S Hook. You put the end thru the hole in your curtain and loop it thru and then put the hook over your curtain rod. I have a double rod and they fit on one, but are a little tight on the other. They work fine on the standard size rod. My second curtain rod is a little thicker, so they don’t slide as easily on that one. They are made very well and they seem to be very durable. I expect that they will last a long time.

I received these shower hooks as part of the spark reviewer program but this is my honest opinion. They are very nice heavy quality and really do add an upgraded fancy hotel style to my bathroom. They however are not the easiest to put on with a liner also. I thought if you had a curtain with button holes you could put the hooks on like buttoning a shirt but the metal circles are a bit too large so I had to feed both curtains through the back of the hook. It was tedious and kind of a pain since I was using the kind of shower hooks that had a separate hook for each curtain. They were old and getting corroded so I thought these would be a nice upgrade, which they definitely are in the looks department since these are nice and new! So far they have held up very nice and still look great. They easily slide across the shower rod and fit over the rod just fine. These are a very nice classic modern looking option for shower hooks and I really love the way they look. I've included a photo of my curtain with the new hooks.

These are very simple and elegant hooks. They appear to be well made. Opening and closing the curtain is so much easier with the roller balls. These are one of the few "decorated" hooks available that are with the roller balls.

I was thrilled to try these shower curtain hooks when they arrived because they’re so much prettier than the standard plastic rings I had before. Upon opening the package I did see a few cosmetic issues in the finish on three of the twelve (pic attached) but I realized that I’m a perfectionist and it’s very, very unlikely that anyone but me would ever notice. They were easy to install through both the plastic shower curtain liner and the linen shower curtain and diameter fit perfectly onto our standard shower curtain rod. The shower curtain hangs at almost exactly the same height as it did with the plastic rings as well. (Pics of both attached for comparison.) They have a nice weight that makes them feel sturdy without adding too much heft. The hooks do look very pretty on. It adds a very finished and tidy look to the bathroom. Unfortunately, there are some function issues that are driving me crazy. We are currently using an extendable tension rod for our shower which means there are two slightly different diameters and these hooks are an absolute pain to slide back and forth across it. (Pic attached.) Sometimes if you’re not paying enough attention and open the curtain too quickly they will catch on the larger section and several of the hooks will just fly off. Again, it’s very easy to just put them back on the rod and slide it more slowly, but when I’m in a rush it is pretty irritating. They might only work on a tension rod in the house of a very patient person. I can’t really dock the product for the slide issues because they would almost certainly work perfectly on a shower rod with a single diameter all the way across. And I think any style of hook like this would probably do the same thing. I am taking one star, so four instead of five, for the cosmetic issues though since it does make them look a little bit cheap. I just put the few with the issues on the far side of the bathroom that you don’t see as much and like I said, I can’t imagine anyone ever noticing. I really wanted to leave them on for the “pretty factor” and just try to get used to being very careful opening the curtain, but I’ll probably switch them back out and potentially gift them to a family member with a different shower rod.

ordered nine sets of these shower hooks, and assumed they were made of metal since the description said rust resistant . To my surprise they are made of plastic, and the first two i put on the rod broke. Now i have eight more sets of hooks that will need returned.

These hooks might work with a bathtub type shower, but they keep the curtain too high, actually barely below the rod, so that the curtain stops 4-5 inches above the floor in my shower stall. The color of the nickel is a pale goldish color. My mistake in thinking the hooks would be a silvery color.

The packaging is awful, so much plastic for these little hooks and they were difficult to remove from the little plastic slots they were threaded into. The "metal" bends really easily, so much so in fact that one of them broke before I even got it into the shower rod, sending ball bearingseverywhere. It's clear the material used to make these is very cheap, but you're being charged extra because of the design. Would not recommend.
