The last time I had a cat sitter she was very upset that I did not have cat liners to dispose of the kitty litter. I had tried them in the past and they tore easily and were very flimsy and often made a mess. I decided at that time that I was not going to use litter bags. I went back to scooping out the litter with the scooper. I have not traveled much in the last couple of years but have gotten names of cat sitters from friends and they all tell me they are pretty insistent on cat liners when cat sitting. So, I knew I needed to investigate some new liners. I was pleased to see that Houseables were unscented and were extra thick and tear resistant. My cats do not like all the scented cat litters and fresheners for the kitty box. I have two cats and they like to claw the edge of the cat box after using it. This was an issue that made me think I would never have liners because they were usually shredded. This has not been the case with these liners. They are very thick. They remind me of the thick trash bags they sell for discarding heavy items. My litter box is large and the bags fit very well around it. The bags could handle a bigger box as well. The drawstrings are sturdy and are easy to pull and secure. These would be great for travel as well. I am just happy I found a reliable liner. No more frustrations with the cat box!
Good quality cat litter bags. they fit my stand size cat litter pan and are easy to put on. They are a good thickness and I'm confident they won't rip. I also like the easy to use box the roll comes in so they are easy to pull out and stay nicely rolled.
These cat pans have been the perfect addition to my litter robot I just install it into the container like a regular trash bag and then when I'm done I just drawstring it together easily and dispose of it.
The litter bags are nice and strong. I have a large litter pan and the bags fit nicely.
These were kind of big but beat having to worry about them being not big enough. Perfectly held up against my two maniac bathroom using cats.
The jumbo size litter bags fit the litter box making cleanup so much easier.
I will keep ordering these for as long as this is for sale
The Housables Litter Box Liners seem to be a good in some ways but honestly, to me are more work with the liners than without them, no matter what brand. The only advantage to me is when you change the litter completely, you basically have a cleaner bottom of the box. Without the liner I just take the box outside and spray it out with the hose. My one dislike about this is trying to scoop out the cats mess when they go near the edges of the box, I get the liner as well as the clumps, then I have to reset the liner by pulling on the edges. I read where some people say put more litter in the box. When I do that the cats get litter all over the floor, creating more work. Am I doing something wrong here? At first the cats and the kittens mostly, were shredding the liner when they try to cover their mess, but no longer do that. Now, if you are traveling I would agree, this is a very good idea to use the liners. They are heavy duty and will fit in a larger box, but not one with high sides like my other litter boxes for the big cats.
I guess these bags are kind of a good idea but if I wanted litter pan bags then why wouldn't I just use trash bags instead? I can buy full size contractor bags (which are way, way overkill for this job) and, per bag, they cost less than these cat pan bags. The contractor bags are way more heavy duty than these liners, they just don't say 'cat litter pan liners' on the carton. You might like these, but, for me, regular old trash bags suit this job much better.
Bought for a crippled cat ( larger litter box...so these I thought would do as my litter box is larger ..but the liner although good quality are not what stated in measurements...had to slice the corner to fit on the length.....dj florida...will buy elastic next time.
