Cat's Pride Scented Scoopable Cat Litter, 12 lb Jug

Previously I, have been using a more expensive litter, well, game changer time now that I have came across this lower cost plus lighter weight litter, which my kitty has fell in love with. So, Thankyou, to Walmart for introducing me to Cats Pride light weight litter. You are greatly appreciated, Keep up the great work.

I really like this brand of cat litter. The last tub I bought was missing the protective seal and I could tell some of it had been used. When I finally could stop arguing with AI, a real nice customer service person helped me with getting a refund. The AI said I had to return it in person! Way too heavy for me, in fact impossible! I think Artificial (Un)intelligence is a waste of my time %26 patience! You cannot reason with a thing. Nothing will ever replace a human who has a real live living brain and the capacity to listen, reason, have empathy, and who will help to solve a problem. Thank you for still having people in your Customer Service; please get rid of your AI !!!

I used to get the cheapest cat litter available but we were going through so much of it. I decided to try this one time and I've used it ever since. It lasts a lot longer and is only like $2 more than the cheapest brand. With this stuff it's a lot easier to scoop out the clumps

My fur babies loves this litter and won't use any other brand , I have recommended this brand to plenty of customer who was just starting off with their new fur babies and some older cats parents who babies needed something soft without a lot of dust, if I can't find anything, I'm going to store to store.

I have tried so many cat litters. I have 15 cats. I do a lot of fostering and trapping and so forth for the shelter. This is one of the best cat litters that I've used for the money. It really does work and the smell is very good. You have no sense of cat urine. It is wonderful.

I use to get 2 12lbs pourable containers but Walmart raised the price to almost $18. So tried 20lbs tubs. They are very hard to get open %26 heavy to pour when full. There is a plastic pull tab I had to get a lock wrench to pull open. So inconvenient. Not worth it for me at almost 70 years old. Oh well…that's my story.

I've tried many cat litters and this one is my go to. I do also use the Arm %26 Hammer litter deodorizer with it. It does leave litter tracks but most of them do as I've found. While it doesn't cover up the odor completely, I haven't found one that does. So far, this one does have less odor than the other expensive brands after the kitty potties. I've also used the litter deodorizer with the other brands. So I'll give this 4/5 stars and say it's a great value for the quality and it's still better than the name brand expensive litters. Just use the arm%26 hammer deodorizer and you'll be good. Now, the Arm %26 Hamer litter itself is not good at controlling odors but the deodorizing powder does somehow.

I order this product via delivery with my groceries almost every week and I've had 2 instances where I got contaminated litter. The first instance it appears someone opened the top and took a whiz in there on put it back on the shelf to be sold to an unsuspecting customer (me) at a later date. The second container (pictured) has clumps and leaves and twigs in there so I assume someone had some type of spill in their driveway used the litter to soak it up then swept up the litter put it back in the container and returned it to the store to be sold to me. So now every time I order it I open it up right away and look inside and tilt it at various angle looking inside for any irregularities. Unlike other brands this one does not have a glued in safety seal under the cap. Do yourself a favor and open each one before you buy it to make sure it's not contaminated. I never bothered to return the containers I got stuck with as it's too much of a hassle and I don't use them in order of purchase as the one container was in my closet for months according to the delivery label on it. If you get a uncontaminated container it's a good product but let's face it people are animals out there so either inspect first or buy something that can't be tampered with like a box with a pull tab to rip it open.

It took me cutting the packaging lid strip off to open the container. The pull ring broke first try, then cut to open and obviously it is thick material and was difficult to cut. My wife could not do it. Will only by the next smaller size jug from now on.
