Some assembly required. The "tools" provided are minimal at best, adding to the tricky assembly. I switched to real tools and things went far faster. The large threads were tricky to work thru also. After the larger body parts were put together and tightened things were easier. These karts are sturdy ... for children. The hoverboards (sold separately) are attached via two Velcro strips (one on the right, one on the left) which seem to wear out very quickly. After each use you really need to recharge the hoverboard batteries and check to make sure all screws and bolts are tight. I bought 2 for my grandsons and we use them while camping. The kids are 5 and 7 and it took some time before they felt comfortable controlling the hover karts safely. I added tall bike safety flags to each kart so cars could see them on the campground roads. Always ... Safety FIRST!

My grandson absolutely loves riding this. He is 4 years old, and does a great job on it.

My kids love their seat attachments. It makes them feel like their on go karts!

I really like the item and my daughter loves riding it. The only thing that i did not like is how the item attaches to the Hoverboard with velcro. I would think there would be something better to use to attach it with so it would be sturdier and no way to come apart. Everything else about it is great.

Would rate higher but I received the wrong color when I paid $20 extra for a red I received a black one

Be careful with this sellers item descriptions. I purchased a 6.5" hoverboard for my twins so I purchased a blue and pink hoverboard cart kit. Unfortunately I bought these as a birthday present in advance so by the time I attempted to put it together was beyond the 30 day return policy. So despite the description saying it will fit 6.5" hoverboards it most definitely does not, not even close!

I bought for my daughters hoverboard but it was too wide to work for it. There is no way to narrow the width. I figured that they are standard size. So now I have to buy a new one.

This does not fit many hoverboards
